You gotta love how much conservatives pound the success of the surge, conveniently leaving out the giant bribes they paid to the militias to get them "on our side." Nothing had actually changed in Iraq.

And Maddow is exactly right. Obama presented a rough plan for withdrawal. Not overnight but to expect overnight withdrawal would be idiotic to say the least. McCain never proposed anything, other than Bush's tired old line "Stay the course and we'll see."

It's funny how he attempts to put words into the mouth of Obama by saying, "he said he wanted to be as slow getting out of Iraq as we were hastingly getting into Iraq." No, he said, "I want to be careful while withdrawing from Iraq." This is what we all know as spinning. Thanks to Rachel, she caught that little weasel!

This guy is an idiot! lol Obama says slow getting out...Rachel corrects him and says, not slow, careful. "Well, slow, careful, samething". Jesus, thats exactly how and what sends the wrong message to everone. Slow and Careful are two different words with two different meanings. Thats the kid of reporting that pisses me off. A reporter that knowingly provides to us the wrong message but does it in a way where if he's called on it, he can say; "Oh well, thats not what I meant". Thats so wrong!
