@SaraeStrange Well since I'm not a fan of getting absolutely soaked I'd have to say the Stanley Falls Flume. I still ride the Congo River Rapids every once in a while, but only in the warmer months.
Do any of you know WHY this is called Stanley Falls? Stanley mapped out the Congo of Africa so Leopold II of Belgium could exploit the region for its rubber, ivory and slaves. More than 10 million were killed in 20 yrs. I don't think I'd be proud to name something after Stanley.
@acmilanowns Oh..... I dont meen to be mean or anything its like i have very sentive sooo I am going to say I dont really care Like i said DONT MEEN DO BE RUDE
@newbreakingtwilight yes it was because during hurricane katrina i went there to busch gardens. Last summer was I think my 4th time to visit. It may be small but it brings a lot of thrills
I know what you're saying. The line usually is an hour long and during the tourist season, it can get as long as two hours. I only go on it it there's less than a 30 min wait which usually towards the end of the day during the non tourist season.
an hour for that ride..for a bush gardens ride it is very very poo... compared the the roller coasters that would give universal and disney a run for there money... bush gardens cant compete with them with the log flume rides from the looks of this video
Keep in mind this ride was one of the first rides built at BGA and it's 20 plus years old and was built at a time when BG was very small. Also, the log flumes at WDW, Sea World Orlando, and Universal Studios Florida are al less than 15 years old and have a much higher rider capacity per boat. SM at WDW's MK and JTA at SWO can seat 6 adults per boat and all three parks can load two or three boats at once where as BGA can only load one or two at a time. Just remember, this one's a pretty old ride.
Thanks, it is a fun ride and as always it's a very popular ride. During the summe, the wait can get as long as an hour which is pretty good for a ride that's well over 20 years old.
@TechnologyMAN1245 It's just something I prefer not to do while I film on ride.

@MrMorganOBrien No, not that I remember and I've been coming here since I was a kid. It would've been nice to have that added to it.
woodencoasterfan 1 month ago
I'm confused. Didn't there used to be a drop on this ride that went down AND up again, (like the one in the dark on Splash Mountain?)

wouldnt it be better if u could ride on the flume not on a boat?
like a waterslide?
BEAGLE1226 1 year ago
the splash on the tidal wave is better, but the first few minutes of the flume are better
BEAGLE1226 1 year ago
Come to think of it, It does look like a larger version of the Flume that was at Miracle Strip. The Logs are identical.
