Why they do this Avatar on CGI in a unique style and they way they features express like they were real. Looks Cool! If only they can do this to of a style on the Predators movie with CGI!

I kinda don't want to see an Avatar 2, the 1st one really only brought CGI to a new level, but it lacked in overall story. Im sorry if offend and fanboys, but I think Avatar 2 will not be nearly as successful as some people will claim it to be.

@Illier1 Avatar 2 will most likely be a good film.

Avatar 1 was a good film for a few reasons.

1. The cinematography was revolutionary for an adventure film.

2. The special effects were groundbreaking for any film.

3. The direction was phenomenal, peiod.

James Cameron tried to write a script that would allow for him to create a new world. He is now going to have to one up himself, by writing a story that can actually stand on it's own. It's not perfect, but its getting somewhere.

@095293003 1-2 were groundbreaking, but only once can that work. The public has already seen the groundbreaking, it isnt anymore. And Avatar was unoriginal in general. Boy enters world working for one side and discovers his love for the enemy and choose between the 2 world...yeah...never heard that one before (cough)Pocahontas(cough).

Im not sure he can pull off another movie worth 500 million, a very risky goal.

The public will love these movies, no doubt about it. But James Cameron is smart enough to mix up his formula, like he did on T2 (his best film IMO), so I have hopes for a sequel.

And great cinematography works every time, because it can only be great if it is not repetitive. The very fact that they want to shoot miles down in deep water has me intrigued.

btw there isn't an avatar 2 its just the original plot and story-line etc, but it has an editors cut which is just 6 minutes added onto the end of the film, when i found that out i was pretty gutted though because I wanted another whole film. :/ it's a shame really, i was expecting something like jake and neytiri to have a child or something, maybe they go to the department and the na'vi convert into humans, i dunno but there lmfao!
