wow! I LOVE your tank! though i though the music distrupted the possible zen like atmophere in the tank, everything else was NICE! i love how you used the neons or cardinals to balance the big discus, and the drift wood, it looks amazin and fills up the tank, yet the tank still looks very spacious. Very nice simple repeating elements of wood. GOOD JOB =^_^=
absolutely beautfiul discus and tank set up. they are all happy, healthy, and eating great with even better schooling behavior. i only have eight discus myself at this time. you are doing fantastic with these discus. i have ten years eperiecen with discus but i am so darm envious it hurts.
Does your wood leach a lot of Tanins? Im leaching 100lbs of African root wood in a big container in my backyard and Im already on two months (Idrain the water every 2 weeks) and the water is still piss yellow, think its pretty much ganna leach forever? how long did it take yours to leach? I think i see a little in your water but maybe its the lighting, let me know =)
WHOAH this tank is awesome! but ur missing an amazon stingray man! with that long empty sand bed it would be perfect! their blackwater fish too so they will require the same care almost as dicuss but they eat ALOT!! hehe
