  • ...and wana add this, funny part of the film is sadhana's character knew his voice she'd heard him sing talk how in the world when you're dying for someone cannot recognize the lovely voice of your beloved? refering to this very scene folks.

  • lol...this is the first time he sees her in the movie before this scene it's all burqa ...poor chap what a story of his life, then he searches her everywhere without seeing her face ...he falls in love with her without seeing her face at least she sees him full while singing that ghazal at uni...aah poor felllows

  • Its Is a mazing romantic scene- aisy pur khuloos muhaabat ke dailauge aur clip aaj ki fimo mian nahi dekhne ko miltey - kya pyar bhari baten hui hain rajendar kumar and sadhna ke beech-- bus bar bar suntey hi rahiye -- wallah--------

  • Memorable roles by Rajendra Kumar,Sadhana, Ashok Kumar,Nimmi and Johny Walker.

A 'must watch' movie for all true lovers.

The song 'Mere Mehboon Tujhe' will shed tears in your eyes --that--if you've ever truely loved someone in your life.

  • this heroine i always had a crush on her , before i realise and come in to senses i could marry her , i heard she expired and was blind and was in 60s age . i gues i was too late

  • Just beautiful, love to see this clip again, one of my most favorite actress Sadhana.

  • Awesome. Thanks for uploading this video.

  • Thanks for uploading this song.

  • In 1974, After Geeta Mera Naam, Sadhana quit acting, saying that she wanted her fans to remember as a young, beautiful leading lady.

She now lives alone and does not like to be photographed. However, in 2006, Asha Parekh revealed that she, Sadhana and other 1960s stars get together for lunch to ease the loneliness and enjoy each other's company.

She still young in my eyes the way she appeared in Asli Naqli & Ek phool do mali.

  • I'm sure you got this article from Wikipidea!

  • When this movie was released I was here in the US. History is history every thing is written less or more. Of course I have somthing from here and there. Lots of stuff I know myself and no body knows one hundred percent.

  • @MAIDEWANA

She is old now (which is abvious) and I saw her glimps of her in a video related to builder yusuf lakdawala threatning her to vacate flat.

  • can u pls tell me where i can see this movie a link pls.....

  • awesome movie. thanks for uploading.

  • Just have a look on the sophisticated scene, the lovely language URDU

  • I am a Canadian of East Indina origin. I have been here for almost 30 years, but I still have not been able to shake off the effect this song has on me every time I listen to it.

  • Urdu is so beautiful! How regressive & fanatical have we become.I mean, just look at this language..amazing..Naushad Saab's tunes..Johnny Saab,Rajendra Saab, Sadhana, Ashok Kumar..what has happened to us? We were so full of +ve energy in a new India. How could we have become so perverse..where is our sophistication & dignity? Do u have the scene, in which hero & heroine collide into each other ? I can't but thank u...Mere Mehboob, for me is unity in diversity...what have we become, I ask myself?

  • I can't agree with you more. What a decent movie! I could only wish that these times would come back.

  • u r right bro. we have lost our glorious past and the sweetness of urdu language as well.now in all the movies we see only sex and valgarity.

  • ... damn move on in life.Sitting and seeing the world in one click means life have moved on society changes with change in life..OLD GRANDFATHER.

  • Iis change for the sake of change only, good?! Is a change for the worse a good thing? There are things that I've seen in the 10/15 years or so that are a change for the worse. There are plenty of good changes that have occured too. But, to anyone who criticizes the bad stuff, I'm not sure it is good to accuse them of being Luddites or Grandfathers or whatever. We have lost our sophistication culturally & in temperament. Everything is crude and crassy. That's one thing that I'd do without anyday.

  • u r right bro

  • The ultimate expression of etiquette, gentleness and deep passion imbued with emotion is possible perhaps only in Urdu.Being a south Indian unfortunately I know not Urdu but I found out that all those great melodies which I love to listen again and again with out ever getting bored are Urdu based songs. Paakiza, MughalEAzm, Taj Mahal and this song each is a Kohinoor

  • It's the persian and Arabic words that add the melody and beauty. These words need to be brought back into the language.

  • @cybermusician I'm an arabic and really I found thier speach was full of arabic words

  • Beautiful ode to a beautiful movie, I also agree about your other thoughts regarding ourselves.

  • One of the beautiful scenes in the movie. thanx! (PS: wud have been even better if the following song had been included in the video :-P)
