Continuity error alert...In the season finale, Alexis was wearing a gold necklace when she appears, which somehow disappears by the time she takes the stand here. Either the producers forgot to include it, or decided not to for some reason, thinking the viewers would not notice...but they did not count on YT back then :)

Dallas and Dynasty the two best shows on TV. I allways wanted to see a JR vs Alexis match up. to bad both shows were on different stations. that would have been a Classic.

The ratings for Dynasty were horrible the first year. Aaron Spelling brought in Alexis in the second season and the rating skyrocketed and that's why Joan made a whopping $150,000 and episode which was unheard of in 1986.

I started watching this season 2. I finally just watched the 1st season all these years later. Scenes moved much slower then. Wasn't the same when Al Corely left and the character was made straight. Why did they do that?

The continuity was rather bad for this season opener. In the previous season finale, Blake's chauffeur, Michael was still sitting in the court room as Alexis entered, but now he's gone. Obviously, Wayne Northrop's contract wasn't to be renewed for a second season, but he could have been written out a little more gracefully.

I believe that. I was a little kid when this show was on. Watching this as reruns, the first season so far is so boring. I'm hopeing Alexis will bring some life into it

@Italman45 AMEN to that! I think the writers and producers were short-sighted in NOT having her in the First Season - they tried to make BLAKE the villain...JR was great in Dallas but nothing like a good, strong female bitch to stir things up and make you LOVE to HATE her!
