pinkie pie's part used to make me shudder, but now it just makes me cry. something about this whole song feels like a 'loss of innocence', if you will; sort of like the aftermath of realizing that none of your dreams came true at the one place and time you were sure that they would (i.e. the gala). pinkie's part is especially sad because she had the most innocent intention of all: to just have a good time. hearing that part makes me bawl my eyes out because all i can imagine is a sad pinkie...

This was absolutely incredible. I... I don't have the words to describe how amazing this remix is. The atmosphere is nice and dark, reminding me as others have said of a final battle music for an RPG. Pinkie's verse in particular stands out to me with its music box style and sound. Bravo, I must say. You clearly have an exceptional amount of talent.

@ThankYouSniper Typically, I get ideas after listening to a piece, and go to the piano where I doodle out the melody and think up some chord progressions. I work by ear, because I like to keep myself from adhering to the original more than I should. I write out ideas in Sibelius, the program I use, and then I just keep getting more ideas over the next several days or weeks and put them in.

The final product's audio is from Sibelius, which has some really good synthesized instruments.

You must listen to many classical, romantic, modern (romantic kinda bled into modern era) composers (Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, etc.) and their pieces. Now that is the kind of music of what I would call dynamic! :) Nonetheless I can agree with you that the accelerando was a very nice touch to the piece/song (meh, it was originally a song)! :P
