  • LOL... you and your "moral" winner. There's nothing wrong with this song, but please Google "Eurovision winner 2006" and you'll see which song was the REAL winner of ESC 2006.

  • @moodyblue75 See u in Baku next year with the real winner Zeljko Joksomovic and then in Belgrade again in 2013..:D

  • GTFO dark no lifers

  • i love this song....

  • "moral winner" ahhahhahah lordi is best

  • so simple, so good...this is the best song ever in ESC...

  • What is this faggotry? "moral winner"? LOL. thank god Lordi won \m/

  • @v3nin faggotry = musical genius?

winner = good costume and effects?

i guess thats how people saw it for ESC 2006.

  • oh yes! it's the moral winner... so deeply emotional... i wanted to cry everytime i heard it... now that i know the lyrics, just as emotional as i could make them up just listening to the music, i don't think i'll can help it... Thank you again Zelico, thank you Yougoslavia for the amazing, heartbreaking songs and melodies you're bringing... A great tradition goes on...

  • still love this now, best eurovision song of the decade

  • still love this now, best eurovision song of the decade

  • If Zeljko Joksimovic wrote it .. he wrote the music for it as well. It sounds like a Zeljko Joksimovic song. It's nice... but not the best on ESC. Lane Moje is more beautiful.

  • @SlavicaDamjanovic Zeljko Joksimovic wrote ONLY the music. One question, why do you even care? Ajme ove srbadije...

  • TOUCHES ME EVERY TIME I HEAR IT! Love

  • This song was written by Zeljko Joksimovic !! :D

    Good job Hari :D (L)

  • The best song of that year for sure!

  • I still think this is the best Eurovision song of the last 10 years. No question.

  • @whytek24: still the best song ever on ESC

  • the melody is so relaxing and beautiful, just shut your eyes and enjoy this. Best wishes from Lithuania. :)

  • LOL ... you and your so-called "moral winners" or "REAL winners". Lordi won this contest, just like Marija Serifovic won in 2007 and Dima Bilan in 2008 and Alexander Rybak last year. Accept it. They are the real winners, period. If Lordi was so bad, how come did they get so many votes?

  • @moodyblue75

Look face it, Lordi was something that was kinda out there, how often do you get a song this passionate that it extends itself through language barriers heck Ive heard many people say they loved the song even though they didn't understand it.

Lordi was just for laughs in my opinion.

  • UNFORGATIBLE

  • Odlicna pjesma , jedna od najboljih!!

    Hvala te Hari!Volim te.

    Veliki pozdrav iz Rusije)!

  • Good job Hari Mata Hari. Your typical style nothing I wouldn't expect different. I think this should be a winner. Lordi won this contest! I cant believe! Eurovision becoming a joke festival. Good songs are not trendy any more for them. Regards from New Zealand

  • I can't beleive Lordi won over this song!!

Lordi is good, but come on, not Eurovision, kind of weird and scarry.

    Lejla won all hearts.

  • ja miks kaikki aina morkkaa suomen kieltä :(

  • Perfection. Beautiful music, beautiful voice, beautiful lyrics. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Hari, najbolji si!!! Svaka cast, care! (Trebali smo pobjedit.)

  • Well, that's your personal opinion but I think personally that you've very much over-valued it. It's a good song but not in my opinion one of the greats.

  • It's a lovely song and it would've won had Lordi not been much better. Don't try to take away from their success by saying that this song was the 'moral' victory, Lorid won cos their song was new, exciting and just downright brilliant.

  • The music in this song is better than Mihai's song music, and hari varesanovic here has got the best voice in Bosnia. IDK if there is a better composer than zeljko joksimovic who has made this song for Hari Mata Hari group!!!

  • This is the real MORAL winner of 2006. Maybe it's one of the best songs in all the eurovision, you can't forget the music at the last minute. The melody will be in your head/dreams forever. So beautiful!!

  • Bosnia-Herzegovina has become my favourite eurovision participant, obviously because of all the beautiful melodies but also beacause they sing in their own language - it's so much more genuine! Eurovision Sarajevo 2011! :)

  • moral winner in 2006 was Mihai Traistariu...more,in Hambourg he was awarded as the best voice at esc ever,so this means he was the best ever...this song is nice, but nothing compare to Tornero.sorry

  • I so love it

  • NAAAJBOLJAA PJESMA JE BILA i ZARADILA POBJEDU AL ET .. JA SE SVA NAJEEZIM KAD CUJEEM OVUU PJESMU ! .. HARI JE SA SRCEEM ODPJEVOO ! SVAKAA CAAST !

  • is it me or the 2009 song also souds like this one..in the beginning....just a thought

  • no its not you, it sounds the same yes!

  • ohhh.... damn!!! i just saw who did this song lose to. was that joke lordy from finland. ok this was the winner anyway then. :))

  • great song. greatings from albania.

  • the best song. Iwas so sorry it didn't won back than. Romania voted for it.

  • im gonna double that, good song but calling it moral winner only makes you sound like idiots

  • and what does this statement u made make you? you must be kidding or dumb. the win of lordy was a hackers joke on the votes.

  • it makes me a guy who cosiders a winner a winner, Lordy sucked yeah but people liked them and they won, how about all other countries posted their song as moral winners??

  • what u dont understand is that i AM NOT bosnian. take care and bb and im off with this comments.

  • does it matter wether you are or not? its still the same, anyway im off with these comments as well

  • It's the best song I've ever heard on ESC!!

  • @SevaUrek still the best song ever on ESC

  • Comment removed

  • Perfect! PERFECT!

  • How can I say???

Please, molim vas, don't write Layla, write Lejla cause that's the REAL name of this song and on bosnian,Layla is Lajla not Lejla!!!

    xDDDD

btw.this is ours BEEEEEEESTTTT song ever on Eurovision and I hope that Regina can recape this succes or maybe be worster or God Bless You-BE BETTER and to finally bring Eurovision to Zetra,Kosevo,Opcina Centar,Sarajevo,Kanton Sarajevo,Federacija BiH,Bosnia and Herzegovina!!!!!

  • i love this song i love Zeljko

  • απίστευτο κομματι απιστευτη μελωδια.... α ρε Zeljko ....

  • Omg, love this song, I live in denmark, but acc come from Bosnia, and we just voted at this song so many times, but it wasn't anought ! And the stupid lord blla won !

  • i don't remember the name of winner from this eurovision, but melody of 'Lejla' is in my ears from that day... i heard that some movie have it in soundtrack

  • i love this song xD it's lejla not layla :D

  • How many winners of the Songcontest are already forgotten...

This song will stay with us till we are old!

Thank you Bosnia! 12 points from Germany

  • I agree with everything you said.

    Another 12 pionts from Sweden.

  • i think that the real winners are almost always the second ones... /but not the stupid ukrainian song with all the shits 2 years ago.../

  • BEST SONG EVER IN EUROVISION

  • IMHO, this is the best Eurovision song of all times, for both song and coreography, despite of the fact that it got less points than Lordi, my countrymen.

But lets not be childish. Lordi was very good. This was better, and the best do not always win. But, what is more important, they keep living on.

  • @kafma and at all...the country is called Bosnia & HERCEGOVINA....!!!not only Bosnia!!!

  • It is a great song, the song that stays forever in hearts. Thank you Bosnia. Love from Azerbaijan.

  • this song still gives me goosebumps 2 years on! Amazing

  • who sings this?

  • Eurovision Winner 2006 in Finland lordis song Hard rock halle luija. Not bosnia my friend

  • the name of the video is the MORAL winner ...

    hari rules

the best song on eurovision in last 5 years

  • its the best song in the Eurovision Contest go bosnia :}

  • This is the song that will stay in peoples hearts. But the kids voted for Finland of course.

  • umm.. no affence it is spelled lejlanot layla caus like the j is a y in our launguage .. lol but good song :)

  • OMG .. had forgotten all about Bosnia & Hercegovina and this beautiful song .. Halleluja for YouTube *s*

  • da nebi bio finnland mi bi pobjedili!

  • One thing is clear, eurosong is political competition,so,there is a reason why finland won!But there is one country that do not care about others countries, that is Monaco, and they gave Bosnia 12 points!!!

That is shows how good this song is!!!!!!

  • incredible. i get chills up and down my spine.

  • just amazing...

  • the best song i've ever heard in the Eurovision Contest...Trully beautiful!!!!

  • Wauw this song is so beautiful! They should have won the competition, THIS is a real Eurovision-song!

  • Esta canción fue la mejor del festival en muchos años. Increiblemente interpretada.

  • Nappalederistgesund, i'm sure there has won much worse songs than Lordi's. Whole Europe voted and Finland got the highest points ever, so don't be bitter talking some shit about suicides. Hahah! You don't know anything about anything when you're claiming shit like that. Lordi won and that's it. It was a suprise for everyone. (Leyla was and still is one of my favourites. But still, Lordi won. Don't cry. And don't blame Finnish, they couldn't give votes to themselves!!)

  • you say this song is shit because you don't understand words

this song is so good and hari is one of the greatest singers in balkan

listen some of his songs and you will see

it's only a problem that you won't understand anything what he says but who cares :))

    his songs are only important

  • HYI PERKELE! minä e näe tässä mitään hienoa samanlaista paskaa pursuaa joka paikasta loordi uskalti olla erilainen kauan eläköön vallankumous!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad, too. Finland is such a fucked up gloomy country, I cried when L won because I thought: "Perhaps this will at least prevent a couple of those crazy Fins from committing suicide, if only for one evening! The song is the greatest shit mankind has ever listened to, but let them and the couple of kids who voted for them have it." Don't kill yourself, but go and get some sun, that would probably also be good for your taste in music, and there would be one finnish music zombie less! Hooray!

  • beautiful, I like it :)

  • HARYYYY!!!!

  • sto voljen tebe LEYLA?

  • bc of u my love Lejla..

  • my

     name is leylaaa

  • ( the song continues here :

"My dove, lovely dove,/ Not a song, bring her my tears./ Now I go, for I have loved,

The one who could never be mine./ My dove, lovely dove,/ Not a song, bring her my tears.

Now I go, for I have loved,/ The one who could never be mine./ Why did I love you,

    Layla.

  • Lejla ( English Translation )

LAYLA Wind rolls down the meadow,/Pain follows me like a shadow, / Do you still long for me,

Where have you gone, oh, sorrow. / Rosemary in your hair, /And a flower by the fountain,

    Layla.

How could you ever love another. /My dove, lovely dove, /Not a song, bring her my tears.

When they ask for your hand, /My love, I won't be there, /Sorrow is easy to forgive.

But love is not forgiven, ever. /How could you ever love another. /

  • just write on google layla or lejla lyrics ond you will get the hole text off the song!!! Best song on eurovision!!! EVER!!!

  • thank you...

  • one of the bests of eurovision..are there anybody can translate in english?

  • This song is amazing! I've been playing it on and on and I can't get bored.

In my view, this song is musical and sensible, Lordi's Hard Rock Allelujah is noisy. "Layla" is definitely the winner for me.

  • If it weren't for Lordi, yes, this song is the moral winner of ESC in 2006. Such a long time ago...

  • if you don't like it then why are you listening to it

  • This is what I would call quality music!

Thank you Bosnia and Herzegovina for giving eurovision this gem!

  • thank you

  • it is so beautiful eventhough i dont understand a word of it. you can sense the feeling in it

  • Bravo!

  • damn right kodder0

  • you dont have to like it. i think you should shut your mouth!

  • Verry good song but it,s copy of Lane moje. He's even dressed in white. U can see that Zeljko wrote bouth songs.

  • i dont agree with you!i think this song is more diffucult than lane moje! actually lane moje was stolen everybody know it. (fuck all serbians)

  • senna34, you do realize that lejla was composed by zeljko (singer of lane moje)?

  • this song doesn't have a damn thing in common with Lane Moje, except for the fact they are both balads. Lane Moje wasn't even writen bij Zeljko himself. Lane Moje is much slower than Lejla. Both are beatifull, but now we are talking about Lejla and Hari Mata Hari, so I got to say THIS SONG IS BEAUTIFULL AND DESERVED TO WIN!!!

ANYWAY IT WAS THE ONLY DECENT SONG IN THE TOP3, THE FINNISH FREAKS AND RUSSIAN GAY THAT TALKS IN ENGLISH LIKE BORAT DIDN'T DESERVE THAT PLACE

  • zeljko didn0t wrote the song. i'm sorry i wont be mean but can you read?

  • Love it love it

  • This was a more dramatic song than the swedish entry, but Sweden was also my favourite. Lordi shouldn't have won. There were more beautiful songs like this " layla".

  • well you know what? good song win and crappy songs lose.

    Lordi won = good

this piece of crap lost = crappy

  • well now, we've all got our definiations of what is good and bad in music, and we all know that lordi sucks, ive got friends who never heard of lordi b4 Eurovision, they said it sucked (and they listen to actual hardcore music) and they said that Lejla is beastly, so..shut up

  • This was by far the best song in Eurovision...if there was no language barrier this song would have swept the contest. Lordi , sucked and was depressing. Anyone who knows music knows this song was the best quality inside-out. This song was a winner by 1000 miles and morally it will be forever. If Lejla was played in this yrs (2007) Eurovision it would have been a winner for sure because it is better then Molitva by far.

    Pozdrav from Serbia

  • shut the fuck up lots of english people vooted for it yoo jealous shit. hahaaaa we should have won . i lvoe this song so much and so did everybody soo fuck off x

  • It was the best song...stirs the sour, but hard to sell to an English speaking market.

  • Reaaaally beautiful song!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Lordi deserved the first place!!

  • Lordi had a right to win, the contest is a show. But this song, to me, is absolutely beautiful

  • I agree, the moral winner!!! Zelko is such a great composer

  • Lordi won because Eurovision is a freak-show, and not song competition it once was. I think most of those that vote are 6-12 year old kids, thx to sms voting.

  • Very,very,very... beautiful. Music going from heart and soul. It is that especial case when there is no need to know the language of the song, because all the beauty of it is transmitted through fantastically fairy melody.

  • bah. this song sucks. finland won and you know it. if lordi is rubbish then why did it win and not this ´´best song ever´´? seriously, the only use i can pissibly think for the lyrics of this song is toilet paper. this song is rubbish. lordi won because it had the best song, this did not win because it is not as good as lordi´s song. just get over it.

  • dont be ridicilous:D have respect to others and from the artistic view it s better than lordi but modern people love only differents thats why lordi won but dont think that it s the best...

  • nope. lordi won because it was the best. modern people love good music, and that´s why lordi. I´ll say it now and i will keep saying it. this song sucks.

  • ok i dont know nothing but i m a respected music man sorry but if u dont know plz try not to speak

  • ja se uvijek najezim kada cujem ovu pjesmu... publika tamo je rekla sve... kolikim aplazuom su nagradili, pozdravili Harija...

    najbolja njegova pjesma ikada

  • beautifulest song ever ;)

  • this is such a beautiful song....

  • My god, and those apes won. If those people in Europe have any morals they should came and apologise for this shame on the eurovision song contest! This song IS a WINNER ! LEYLA FOREVER!!!

  • I adore this song! this was the best song at eurovision sc '06...

  • Well, no one should send beautiful song to Eurovision like this one. Those never win. Send rubbish like Lordi and that will bring victory. Eurovision is not about nice music... people have wrong perception about contest

  • this is the best song ever, and I think that every country should sing in there own language.

  • Great Song! Should have made second place instead of Russia!

  • hari has a great performance here..his voice is just captivating.I actually haven't come up with a contestant to use his voice so suitably so far.congratulations hari mata hari and Bosnia!

  • Hallo THIS IS LEJLA BY BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA and SHE ARE 3AND

  • BoratSagdiyev70- no Chenkwee. Dziękuje- it is correct. it is in polish language. sorry for my english

  • Bravo Layla..this was the best song of the Eurovision...those Finish redneck only won beacuse of the soviet bloc voting... An by the way.. this is Eurovision (countries with different languages compete)...those that sing in English are so unoriginal..as far as Serb producers...well serbs were always Bosnian sefs... ehehe

  • and this had the baltics block vote....

  • This song is not bad but it's boring. And nobody understands what they say.I they sang in english more people would vote for them but maybe their english is bad.Anyway, most of us have had enough of all these boring ballads which always win for all stiffs.Lordi winning was the best thing that could happen to that silly contest nobody takes seriously anymore.

  • Kazakhstan will win the next eurovision. We have a very nice music, you like. This is a shit but I like to do a sexytime party with the girls. Chenkwee

  • That's a bad boring song, but a nice performance...

  • I'm glad to see Layla remains in our hearts even though it was unjustly pushed aside at the 2006 Eurovision. This means there still left people who can appreciate the true value of music.

For me that is a ray of hope.

  • no mother fucker...this is bosnian music produced by zeljko joksimovic...you retarded illiterate piece of shit.

  • this is serbian ethno music produced by zeljko joksimovic

  • the song was writing by a Bosnian, so all zeljko did, is put the music with the lyrics

  • and that's all?....:)

  • Its a great song and the lyrics are wonderful. It was better than finland and russia by miles lejla deserved to win

  • I don't have a clue about what he's singing about, but this song and performance is absolutely brilliant!

    Very very beautiful

  • ı like lejla:) beautiful song...

  • This song is absolutely amazing. the more I listen to it, the more beautiful it sounds!!! I am kinda following Eurovision from the other side of the Atlantic and over the last several years, the 2 best songs I have heard have been Serbian/ Bosnian- Lane Moje and this one. (no I am not Serbian/ Bosnian)

  • i like this song. lol i know someone called Layla

  • Jebes Zemlju Koje Bosne Nema .. :)

Krv svoju , za bosnu moju

  • This should have won... As Lane Moje in 2004.

  • This song is beautiful. How come it didn't win?

  • Bravo!!

    This is true Winner!!!

Europe from center of music Universe on fast track to metal crap of sick sound of demons....in all 50 years 51 was most unfair to true talents....

  • lovely song wish the bosnian ppl to see the future becous we are all from one GOD... wish you all the best from Norway daphy

  • OHH TO CORRECT MYSELF I MEANT IF IS SOMETHING GOOD COMING FROM MUSLIMS THEY SAY we are bosnians, but usually they dont want to share status of being bosnians, they are croats or serbs, shame on all of u, cowards....

  • Thought "layla" is normal type of ballad song which have been seen in eurovision before it should have got second place.

  • Hari is great!superb!!!But what about his personal life. What do you know about it?Is he a muslim or an orthodox or catholic?Does he have a family, wife, kids or maybe girlfriend?

  • The county is called BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA NOT JUST BOSNIA YOU STUPID MUSLIM FUCKS!!!!GO HERZEGOVINA!!!!!!!

  • Hari tako dalje!!! Bosnia 4 Ever

  • Uvijek sam bila ateista, a sada poslije ove pjesme sanjam sadrvane.Hari-beze, sve za tebe!

    Hari is sooooooooooooo hot!

  • hvala ti Zeljko sto tako lepo predstavljas srpsko ime

  • JOJ HARI IH JE RASTURIO SA OVOM PJESMOM !!!

  • ThE BeSt !!!

  • I think that this song should have gotten second place. Imo Lordi sucked. And the fact that the first two countries snag in english. Its called EUROvision not americanvision. I salute bosnia and all of the other countries that sang in their native language.

  • Best ballad ever! =] Go Hari! Volim te, i nemoj zaboravti ovu pjesmu! Ovo je twoj styl!

  • Volime ovu pjesmu !!

  • The whole song is great..most beautifull song I've ever heard

  • GO BOSNIA!

  • The atmoshpere and intro is great!

  • Bonita canción , enhorabuena por ese 3ª puesto.
