  • Hello, I have a Coralife Compact Fluorescent True Actinic Blue Light Straight Pin Base Bulb and I don't know how to take it off because I'm buying a Regular Fluorescent Bulb to replace it. It's a CF 65W True Actinic. Sorry, I don't know that much about changing these kinds of bulbs that are connected by wires instead. Please Help ASAP! Thank You.

  • Amazing! great selection of fish, good job.

  • what kind of fish are the orange "finding nemo" looking?

  • @AGC828 there called clown fish :)

  • I really like the water quality in there.. My 125 gallon used to have nice quality of water but I guess I need to do more water changes and hook up my sump.. I went on a 2week vacation came back and tank was full of hair algae. Friend said he didnt overfeed but IDK for sure...I scrubbed the rock, and did a 40% water change and that didnt work. I have lost about 3 tangs,2 wrasses, spotted goby and a few corals now. Tank readings are all good with 2 types of test kits..

  • one thing everyone should know about your anemones is that it is very important to feed them, you can feed them fish food like prawns, octopus, squids, & also good fish. it is very important for them to grow & stay alive just like fish, not to mention the clown fish also like to eat the white poop that the anemone disposes ha ha :)

  • one more thing after to get the gravel like that your going to have to use a gravel cleaner that sucks up water & sand which you will use weekly, you can buy this from your local aquarium shop no probs. i hope your using coral sand lol

  • nice tank man.. ive got a 125 with the same amount of live rock as you do... i have four triggerfish in it right now

  • I wish everyone with these gorgeous tanks would would first show the entire tank, at least for a few seconds, so that the close-ups can be viewed in some context. and then zoom in and pan around.

  • Can i ask you a question? Do You Make The Salt Water Or You Buy It?

  • @2424Anthony you buy the salt at the pet store and then u mix it.

  • What brand/type of live sand did you use?

  • noice tank, I think you could take out some LR and it would look even better.

  • Nice i may use this a little bit once i get my 125 set up

  • wow

  • LOL! that music is from Dances with Wolves..... love the aquarium

  • do you think i could set up a 125 for aroung 800 or is that not enough and how much is just the tank

  • how much was this hole tank set up and where did you get it

  • @force52xxxx @force52xxxx At the time, around $5K, i bought the tank itself at Petsmart and the fishes and such on liveaquaria and other various local fish stores.

  • @bao357 are 126 gal fish only setups a lot cheaper? im thinkin bout doin a 125 ith 55 gal sump with about 6 or 7 fish.

  • @bao357 $5000 DOLLARS?????

  • if i had the cash i could buy a tank like this who needs a TV when you have a fish tank

  • u know if u ever have to treat ur fish with a copper based med u will kill off ur live rock

  • real nice

  • A great way to relax and relieve stress after a hard days work. Just sit and watch your tank. I do when i've a hard day. Very nice tank and well done!

  • name miusic please :) RESPECT

  • @MrRedbelly his is yanni :D

  • @zhria0828 MAny Thanks :]

  • Like saltwater fish or freshwater fish? Check out this new forum I made to discuss it!

  • like it

  • the tank i very similar to mine i have 1 clown( originally 2), 2 chromis (originally 3 ), foxface rabitfish, sailfin tang, 1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang, bicolour dottyback, cleaner shrimp ( originally 2 ).. do you think it would be wise to puchase another clown so we can have to tangs.

  • I got like a 6 inch sand sifter goby and my pinktail trigger and lionfish chased it out of the tank after 5 minutes, when I took it out of the bag.

  • love the music, its from dances with wolves!

  • marine Fish are by far the best, i like your angel fish ;)

  • awesome tank

  • i have a manderin goby that eats brine shrimp

  • me too

  • Great looking tank, but i always love to see a whole tanks shot.

  • OMG it was you who stole Nemo :O

  • Wow! - beautiful tank and beautiful music!

  • TLwalshz get sea cucumber to clear for u the sand they eat sand

  • man add more yellow tangs.

  • amazing how do you keep your sand so white after 3 days my sand gets covered in brown and red algea the tank is 4 month 125g fish only tank. thanks

  • @TLwalshz watchman goby. makes cleaning the sand easy mode.

  • Comment removed

  • @TLwalshz i think it is sineal bacteria treat it

  • @TLwalshz get snails dude.. i have same problem as you had.. those nasarius snails helped me alot

  • @TLwalshz that brown algae will rapidly spread through your whole tank within 1 week, it is perfectly normal and is actually a positive sighn that your bacterial system has been activated and is now growing. this system will help break down toxic chemicals like ammonia & nitrite into almost harmless nitrate. if your thinking about puting anemone's in i suggest you wait at least 5-6 weeks as nitrate is not toxic to fish but ti is to delicate coral & some anemones

  • @TLwalshz

another thing you can do is get a suction cleaner and once a week clean and turn over the sand

  • What do you have as a CUC in there?

  • @50JumpChump 2 scarlet cleaner shrimp. 20 or so turbo snails. unknown number of nassarius snails.

  • go and check out my vid

just put it up, shows you my coldwater, tropical and marine fish tank - only 2 months old!

    Go check it out!

  • I have a 125 gallon also with a atlantic blue tang too. do your tangs fight with each other at all

  • @donottrytoreadthis They used to, not as much anymore.

  • Your tank is awesome i have my own at home it carries 2 angel fish ones a coral beauty but i am not sure what type the other one is. 1 zebra flounder, 1 snowflake eel, 1 lion fish, and a 10 year old maroon clownfish.

  • What a lovely piece of music to attach to your spectacular tank video. :)

  • How long does it take to clean that?

  • beautiful!!!

  • oh wow this is amazing!!!!

  • can someone please tell me if this tank would work!

A Clown fish, Neon Goby, Coral Beauty, Yellow tail damsel, Flame dwarf angelfish, Some fire dartfish, Foxface,

True Percula Clown, Snowflake Eel, Green Mandarin, Lawnmower Blenny, Thornback Camel Cowfish, Line Wrasse please tell me if this is possible!!

    THANX

  • @MrTomster93 i would remove the eel and the damsel!

  • Great tank.... Great music to go along... GreaT JOB!

  • the current is really strong

  • what could i use out of them

  • If it isn't possible can someone suggest what i could do that is on those lines!

  • can some1 plz tell me if this tank would work. my tank is 30g and the list of fish are: dragon wrasse, normal and spotted mandarinfish, jewelled rockskipper, some highfin cardinalfish, any crabs, lobsters of shrimps, clownfish, flame and blue ring anglefish, domino damselfish, normal and black tailed humbug damselfish and a harlequin sweetlips! and i know it might not possible but i would like a spotfin lionfish or common tropical octopus!

that's it, can some1 plz tell me if this is possible!

  • noo way

  • That is wayyyy too much for a 30 gal fish tank. I would suggest 2 clowns, a goby, blenny, and possibly 1 more smaller sized fish. Damsels become very territorial and mean so thats why I try to stay away from them. Octopus are extremely hard to take care of and lions eat everything that fits in their mouth.

  • @MrTomster93, the blue ring angelfish in its self will need AT LEAST a HUNDRED gallons.

  • Very nice tank.

  • that is a very nice tank

  • couold someone tell me a good online fish store in the UK plz!!!!!!!!

  • how do you keep your tangs from fighting??

  • beautiful!

  • Does anyone know any good online fish store where i can order livestock and fish in the UK???

  • this site is brilliant, thanx alot!!

    :)

  • could any1 tell me how long marine fish can survive in a car journey

  • i dunno i bought some of my fish online at petco so im guessing like 4 days? lol

  • dont buy um from there

  • how you keep out thye alge we been having some problums with that in our reef.

  • I love Atlantic Blue Tang and Kole Tang

    so much .

but in my tank i already have 4 inchs Gold-rimmed Tang and it 's quite aggressive .

  • music totally sets the mood

  • i like the keyhole tang

  • what do u feed the. i am planing to get a salt water fish tank

  • lol i swear i heard that second song on braveheart when mel and the lady were getting married

  • If you do not have coral ,you don't need 384 W of light .

  • very true, but it sure does make the tank look nicer!

  • What type of lighting are you using? need to know< cam on nhieu

  • 384W Compact Fluorescent lights. (generic odyssea brand)

2x 96W Straight Pin Type Power Compact Bulb Daylight 12000K

2x 96W Straigh Pin Type Power Compact Bulb Actinic Blue

  • i got a question i just got a 10gal tank and only 5 little fishes in there and it seems like theres not alot of oxygen in there is there anything i can do to get them more Oxygen?????

  • for salt water tanks, water movement is the most important thing for oxygen. for a 10 gallon, you can just pick up a standard maxi-jet pump

  • hi i have a question, lets say u have a 55 gal tank, and you do a 10%water change weekly, how much salt should be added on, and how do i clean the tanks glass

  • wher did you get that fish tank from

  • beautiful fish tank

  • Nice set up.

by the way how do u keep your tank from getting

algae. My saltwater tank has it all over

  • lawnmower blenny and a bunch of mexican turbo snails

  • very nice tank! please look at mine anyone thats familiar with this stuff;i need help =[.

  • Beautiful!

  • nice tank!

  • fish only system?? i see no corals y not woukd set ur tank rite out:)

  • where can i buy a yellow tang because apparently where i live in scotland they are illegal to import

  • is it true that salt water tanks need daily maintments?

  • no well for me it wasn't once you establish a good tank maybe water change once a week and feed them like freshwater fish.....very easy you just have to know what you are doing

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! That's all lot of live rock. That must of cost you like $1000?!

  • i have a very strong light ( 96 watts) and im having a problem with algae.....its growing on everything, rocks, glass ect. i cant put any corals in my 10 gallon tank because the algae will kill it. i am looking for Coraline algae but not this green algae. id like to hear from your guys on how to get rid of it . i've heard you need to do water changes ...ive done 1 each week 2gallons outa 10g ....it is STILL growing. please give me recommendations of filtration /methods of getting rid of it!

  • try actinic 03 lighting. it boosts the puple

  • Don't leave your lights on too long, use a brush to scrub off the algae from the live rocks. It worked for my brother.

  • And also, it could be because of the light. Use a weaker light. I remember my brother had a really strong light to and algae grew everywhere. Then when he changed the light, algae stopped growing. Hope it helps.

  • lol i jsut can go buy a 100$ light then decide not to use it anymore

  • My bro bought his light for I think between $160-$200. So yeah, $100 light might do the trick. But make sure your light has different lighting. For example, really bright, to moon light, and etc.

  • you should try turbo snails.....one will do but two will clean your tank within two days tops....hope this helps...

  • dont bother buying cleaners hoping they will eat the waste cuz they wont eat enough of it. The best thing to do is just scrub them off and suck them out of the water when u clean the tank. Buying cleaners like snails wont do it

  • what size is your water pump

  • LOL! It's Yanni...but I like it.

  • is that hard dead rock or living or coral looks abit dull for coral but not dull in you tank plz get back 2 me some 1 ty nice tank

  • It's actually live rock. There are micro organisms that live on the rock that help with the filtration of the tank.

  • ty mate

  • Do the fish have a fairly long lifespan?

  • beautiful tank and fish there

  • You got 2 things that are most attracted me, 1st is the saltwater fish, 2nd is the song, ( wordless is my favorate song, specially yanni song =) Yur fish seem very comfortable in this tank. I have tried many times before, i bought expensive fish and they all died........my parent therefore dont want me to raise this kind of fish lol........

Hey man, I will raise saltwaterfish in the future, can you explain for me how to set up this tank, like what liquid to put in there....thanks

  • Nice tank. Please help i have a 125 gallon tank it is set up in my garage. i only have water in it now the problem is that the temp for the most part stays around 87 ,89 due to the fack its outside. is there any kind equip i can get to help lower the temp.

  • chuck in a tray of icecubes every 12 hours. Cheap and it should do the trick

  • this is very breathtaking

  • my fish always die i have a fresh water fish tank im starting over today would do u guys reccomend gettin for new fish since all my old fish died my tank is 14 gallons with 1 70 gallon filter and some plants

  • i would recommend getting a few guppy or platy. they are good fish for beginners. you could also get a few zebra danios. if u are getting guppies or platies, only get 1 male and 2 females. for danios, get 6 - 8

  • Is that a Manderian fish at 0:40?

  • Ya. MANDARIN fish.

  • Nemo's :)

  • Great fish tank! I used to have only one pet pufferfish XD now I'm getting clownfish with some sea anemones.

  • if you dont mind me asking why did you go with the fowlr? the fish in your tank dont pick at coral. Im tellin ya, its beautiful.

  • very nice tank, i think you should put a backdrop or something to hide the wires that are in back of the tank.

  • very beautiful fish!!

  • That's JAPANESE music!

  • that was relaxing

  • im not into salt water that well i dont know why it doesnt look natural to me but i like yours thoughs im more of a ciclid person

  • Mulan the disney movie

  • its from a mad japanese film i think, or maybe an advert from the discovery hd channel lol

  • hahah nice tank!

lol what's the song from 1:14 and on? i know it from a movie

  • The music is by Yanni and the track is called Nightingale. Type it Yanni Nightingale and thou shall find the complete track.

  • omg I LOVE fish sooooo much!!!

im trying to get one, and the tank im thinking about getting comes with a ton of stuff and i would only need food and a fish, and its CHEAP! only fourteen bucks. I want to buy a saltwater fish but idk wat kind can live in 2 gallons. i wouldnt mind getting a goldfish or something if i cant get a saltwater one, i just like saltwater ones better. do you have any recommendations for cheap beginner fish?

  • Yes, I recommend you to get a betta fish in a 5g tank with a heater and filter, being that you are a beginner. You can not magically inform yourself with all the knowledge of saltwater keeping without experience. You need to do lots of research on fishkeeping and freshwater keeping. Learn the basics such as cleaning, feeding, water changes, species needs, one inch of fish per gallon and how to cycle a tank. Cycling the tank is the most vital.

  • I also advice you not to put a goldfish, or any fish in a 2 gallon. Goldfish need 20 gallons+. They are very, very dirty.

  • thanks =)

oh aaaaand I saw this like deal thingie at my local pet store, and its like 70 bucks and it cmoes with EVERYTHING you need for ur fish, its a 10 gallon tank and it comes with four fish =D

  • you can try having a yellow head jaw fish or maybe one false percula (oceslaris) clownfish. But this is considering that you start with a 10 gallon tank with bio-activated sand, and even better with live rock as well.

  • How do you feed them when away? I want to start a salt fish tank but my only problem is feeding them when I'm away. I usually go up to 10 days.

  • How do you feed them when you go on holiday? I want to start a salt fish tank but my only problem is feeding them when away, I usually go for 7-10 days. I know with my discus its not much of a problem.

    -Nice tank mate :)

  • wow

  • how much would the hole set up cost you if you where to buy it all brandnew? gorgeous fish

  • a lot, a 125gal tank alone costs like $500 new, that doesnt even include the stand. around $1500-$2000 for a FOWLR, less for a FO

  • does fowler stand for fish only with live rock?

  • Yep.

  • Best way to do this is look out for chinese restaurants that are closing and they may give you the tank for free.

THats how I got my 55 gallon for free.

  • i love the clown fish and the blue hippo tang

  • how much did this set up cost?

  • hw the heck do you do a water change? omg....

  • I do a 20% water change every 2 weeks. I use a siphon tube to drain out the water into individual buckets. These buckets are then dumped into the drain. I replenish the tank with salt mixed RO water.

  • always buy your live rock online its much cheaper usually your lfs will charge you 7.49 a pound.

  • i want to start a 20 gallon fish tank (saltwater) and i wanted to know all the equitment and the prices of the equitment that i need for a basic tank. also i was wondering if i could put in clown, banggai cardinal, and copperhead butterfly in with it?

  • umm... 20 gallon tank...dependign on where u live ..usually around 70-100 bucks and comes with a lid and light usually....but if u want corals u def need a better light then the light that comes with it...rock can be quiet expensive( depends how much and wat kind u put in) and...those fish should be fine...copperband butterfly just to let you know

  • i would go with a 40 gallons or more not a 20 cause i had a 20 and i could only get like 4 fish

  • In my area before the economy tanked(sorry for the pun) 125 gallon tanks were going for 800-900 dollars but now in this sorry economy the 125 gallon tanks are going for $230-$320 not bad! so if you got some money saved up now go buy them! I just need to learn how to do the piping.

  • where man im ready to buy one let me know asap

  • where

  • I am so paranoid about having too many rocks fearing the bottom will fall out.
