A lot of Richard Pryors stuff would have kicked ass. They really screwed up with shorties. Another problem with the show though is that it should have been a segment to a much more ecclectic program not a half hour show itself. I'd like to see the concept done again with classic bits.

blenderfroggy, I know what McCain said. However if Congress (and they are the ones that would have to reinstate the draft) were to reinstate the draft, they would have already done it back in 2001. It just isn't politically popular.
Remember, Congresscritters are all about being popular and getting reelected. If they were to reinstate the draft, that would be the most unpopular thing next to raising taxes.
