I ship Lily/James, but I can definitely appreciate a tragic love story when I read one. This concept was a masterstroke of Rowling's, and all those tangled emotions she wrote about (or even simply implied) you've captured so well here with these drawings! This is by far my favourite song of Florence's, and I love that you made me like it anew with this connection to Harry Potter. I think I first saw this video in February, and it STILL makes tears stream down my face. Absolutely gorgeous!

It tells an absolutely horrifying story--the little boy with the wretched life meets this little spark of light, and then he falls in love with her. They're the best of friends, and then one day, she's stolen from him. He never gets to keep the oly thing he ever wanted, and she'll never know the pain she caused him...and he dies alone. What a sad life.It makes you think about how love can a horrible thing.

@dorisharabani you're so right, its the part i started tearing cause its never been articulated that way before, i doubt many people have envisioned the senario that Snape actually took a look in the mirror while it was Hogwarts. So seeing that was really beautiful and really brought out alot of emotions. For me, this is the best combination of song and pictures on youtube, the best video for any Harry Potter fan really.
