ahh the old no clutch! :D

this is great when you've snapped the clutch cable, I never knew how to shift without the clutch until the cable snapped... was hard to get it in 1st gear, so I turned engine off, put in first, started it and pressed gas till it turned on, and sorted, works all the time :P

@kuraw69 you can shit at any rpm.. as long as you get off the gas and know the car is not pulling, it will make the none clutch shit easy... try it out, take a bit of practice, but ALWAYS have your leg on stand by at the clutch pedal, the second you hear a crunshing noise, use the clutch, or you'll break the transmission, take it easy

you can upshift without your clutch if you get it timed just right, but downshifting is quite rough on your tranny

Wheels, driveshafts, gearbox, diff, fall into syncronised motion... so you dont need the clutch.. it falls into gear :)

Your hands are all over the place. One minute you're shifting with your palm then its fingers, then thumb, then your hand disapears from the video all together!

Your right hand is even worse, most of the time it is resting on the top center or steering with your palm and letting go of the wheel, and i don't think you used both hands even even once.

in regards to you analysis of my hand positions, this demonstrates my ability to get in sync with the handling as i know when to let go/ grasp the steering to control where the car should go.

Not if u do it right, you have to get just the right revs are it can be done perfect

but you have to be within less than 50 revs i've asked my uncle he's a mechanic and has been for over 20 years you have to get it to litterally fall into gear most people can't do it. so it's not advised

Its all about timing and knowing when to pull it out / put it back in

firstly you will feel the gear stick loosen

pull it out

then rest it VERY gently against the gear u want

then slowly / gentle place it in

you have to get the flywheel matching the clutch speed or something like that

make a upshift without clutch is fairly easy.. the hard part is the rev-matching in the downshift. It's harder when you try to make it do at high rpms.
