Religious rights: Wiccan and Neopagan prison inmates

I've never seen an inmate that took ANY religieous service seriously, don't waste your time trying to talk about the Lord and Lady to these thugs, you don't see how they act when you leave.

People have every right to believe and follow whatever they wish.

What is a 'normal human being' anyway?! I would say that people should forget what others consider 'normal' and believe in what they want to.

Atheists aren't original and it doesn't mean you aren't being tricked or illogical, it doesn't necessarily mean one way of thinking is the complete truth, it's about being happy.

If a pagan, christian, atheist is happy, then so be it!

I am deadly seriously. One girl he said the same thing to was so traumatized she was in a bad car wreck right after the incident. The worst part is when I reported him to the police, he had members from TAWN lie to the police saying that he was somewhere else. He is using TAWN to save his butt. It is this reason and other reasons that I warn new people in Tucson about TAWN's and Don's doings. And because Don works with the inmstes and the police, they just believe him.

I don't mean to be cold-hearted or closed-minded but if criminals can't follow simple man-made laws, what makes you think you can teach them the wiccan laws? There isn't a "savior" in Pagan Faith, you fuck up and you get punished by the gods.

sometimes people need a religion to help themselves become better people. though they may be in jail, everyone deserves a chance to better themselves. NO LOSING HOPE!

Might I dialog with some one who could expand my understanding? Unlike Apostate "Christians" I do not see you or any other "Non-Christian Sect" as evil, or as enemies. To me you are fellow humans who have chosen, as is their god given right, to follow their own path, and walk it with integrity.

From what I've gathered from the Bible, Christians, true Christians are supposed to approach "non believers" with respect for them as humans, not as " anti-christians" who are to be publicly demonized, verbally attacked and slandered. The Christians described in the Bible are meek, mild, respectful folks who are told Directly "Judge not lest you be judged". How many "followers of Jesus" do any of you know that fit this model? I see very, very few.

It makes me glad to see fellow humans who approach their worship of their divines with open mindedness and acceptance (as best one can) of 'differing religious values'. If only "christianity" could be more like you and less agressive and hostile in their "proselitising" and denouncing and demonizing what they clearly don't understand. From my modest study of the Bible, I gather that "God" actually tells his followers to do their "work" in the way you do. More in next post.
