Not being a hater but there's an easier way to overlap duct tape. you take the piece and hold it at each end an stick it down. that way it wont be messy

when ur doing the first step i find it easier to have the duct tape sticky side down...it wont lose its stickyness and it will still peel off, my second suggestion is that when you are sticking the sticky side of duct tape on another sticky side of another piece of duct tape i find it easier to have ur hands on both sides of the duct tape and hover over the piece ur going to put it on and then place it on bc i saw how much of a mess it was when u did it ur way lol but great vid,ur very creative!

Thats pretty dang ingenious ! I like finding things such as this that are practical yet usable at the same time. This is one that I will actually build for myself and some friends. I may try to get fancy with it and braid smaller strips of duct tape so there are some color variations to them. You laid a great frame work for me, Thank you!

you can buy velcro from any craft shop, if you dont have any you can turn the duct tape in on itself to make a loop that will stick the wallet together....also, you could use a press stud or safety pin x

That is a very creative idea! One of my friends made one for herself...it is a different model though it is full wallet with the coin purse, money pouch, and even credit card holders too! I think they are pretty cool. I wouldn't use them as my only wallet though. Thanks:)

I used to make duct tape purses that were real purses, not coin purses... lol. My friend also made a duct tape jacket! And my other friend made a duct tape dress and wore it to prom! :D I love duct tape. I had the idea to make a coin purse/wallet out of playing cards and duct tape. :D
