D'espairsRay is really good. I like their music, I like the darker and brighter aspects of it, their older stuff was awsome and so is this.

Some people are saying that D'espairsRay and other foreign bands are turning American, why because they sound happier? Once you play one style for so long you kinda get tired of it.

Bands have it rough, if they stay the same to long or change to much they get critisized.

Pretty much. Watch "Squall". I mean, Hizumi is finally happy rather than drowning in endless sorrow and dismay, should we hate him for that? He wants to help is true love, is that really so bad? He and the band, still wear a lot of black, its just not as tight XD. Still really good music and a really good band. This song is one of my favorites by them.

I don't really think ALL of their new stuff is shitty. Usually when I buy a CD, I buy it because there are multiple songs that I like on it. Lately, I have been buying their CDs more for the "support the band" idea...but I have found ones (The Pledge and Vinushka to name a couple) that have really stood out. When I went to see them live on their last American tour, I was terrified of what it would be like (since I am a big fan of their old stuff), but it was one of the best shows I had been to.

Around my area almost everyone listens to rap and hip hop (which is the genre I hate the most). There is just something different between american rock and j-rock...american rock is more of a competition of who can rock out the hardest (breaking things, adding guitar solos that just don't fit, etc..)...whereas in Jrock, it is more expression. They don't seem to be competing that much against each other (even the breaking of shit is more expressive lol)

Wow...Just simply amazing. I never heard this band until today. I listened to bands like The Gazette and Gackt before because they are more popular then these guys where I live. However everything about this song was just perfection. The video...guitars....drums...and the very inspiring lyrics. They make american music look like crap but I still love them!
