  • Man selina kyle was hot!

  • After this movie, Burton directing a third Batman movie was ditched. Instead by 1995, came Joel Schumacher as director and came two underrated dumbass actors to fit the batsuit until the original film series was over- Val "guppyface" Kilmer and George "I-don't-give-a-fuck-who-you-are" Clooney.

  • Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer were the best ever Batman/men in the history!!!

  • Danny Elfman is legend.

  • @savvysearch

    Agreed.

    But this is Siouxsie Sioux.

    Also a legend. ;)

  • Burton created the best Batman character, dark and in despair. Nolan created the best psycho villains.

  • @cloudani

Bob Kane and Bill Finger created batman.

Jerry Robinson and Bill Finger Created the joker

Both Frank Miller(TDKR) & Alan Moore(The killing joker) submerged batman into levels of "dark and despair" way before Nolan And Burton and made the Joker more evil/Psychotic than Ledgers awful "joker" could ever hope to be..Again...Way before either. Burton Or Nolan.

    Please just STFU

  • esta canción la busque durante 19 años y hasta ahora la encontré

  • Whenever I picture Batman in my head it's always Micheal Keaton as Batman. Bale is great but Keaton did an amazing job

  • those were movies!!!! since batman forever it´s all only crapy shit without any depth, dialogues ... emptiness without content

  • No dislikes. Holy shit.

  • Best Catwoman was Halle Berry. \o/

    lol, just joking folks! :D

  • THE best movie of all superheros movies and of of the best movies ever made.... one of the best scene ever ....where Keaton is dancing with that beautifull Michell... and i must mention the scene where Keaton meets De vito- "THINGS CHANGE"" it is nice to see that people recognize art!(MESSYLIN) GOOD WORK ! fuck all movies these days....

  • @krentor1

What do you think of Batman The Animated Series plus Batman Begins and Dark Knight?

  • This song, must to be on Batman The Dark Knight Rises, for Catwoman arrival.

  • "Why did you come tonight?" "You first!" "See you."

"That's lovely! I really wish I could say the same, but I came for Max..."

"Do you mean you... not you and Max?"

"AHAHAHAH! Me and Max? Nooooo - THIS and Max. No! Don't give me a "killing Max won't solve anything speech", because it WILL!

Aren't you tired of this sanctimonious robber baron ALWAYS coming out on top when he should be SIX FEET UNDER?!!!"

  • Love this song!

  • Is this Catwoman's theme?

  • @FigureInTheForest

This song is like an explanation of Batman and Catwoman's relationship. They want each other in someway but they know it can never be.

  • @FigureInTheForest It's from when her and Bruce Wayne meet up at that illuminati party. They're last unmasked meeting before the end scene.

  • is it just me or does this song happens to be more darker than the songs prince made for the first movie?

  • @wuchicdo,

I felt that Prince's songs (Partyman and Trust) that were written for the film and played over the Joker scenes, were inherently glossy, light and slightly campy - like Nicholson's Joker, to a degree. Face To Face, however, conveys the darker, conflicting natures of the players in Returns.

    Or whatever. =)

  • @Scruffy193 true, but there were some form of darkness in batman.. however its so ironic this movie was more darker yet it was. however did reflect this film.

  • @Scruffy193

Although, unlike TDK Joker, Nicholsons Joker was possibly more insane, and thus kinda dark. He gleefully kills people, TDK one is more like his, excuse the pun, "serious" 1940's counterpart.

  • @Bumblewave

What do you think of Mark Hamil's Joker or John DiMaggio's Joker on Batman Under the Red Hood?

  • @Johnlindsey289

Mark Hamil in my opinion is amazing as the Joker. In fact, all of the Jokers are amazing in their own right. However, I haven't seen Under the Red Hood yet, save for the scene with Robin and the Joker.

  • @Bumblewave

What do you think of Paul Williams and Andrienne Barbeau as Penguin and Catwoman?

  • Great song. It really suits the movie.

  • Dark, sexy, mysterious

  • beatiful song of the beutiful movie of Tim Burton.

  • I always liked this movie. The Penguin looked so evil in this movie. I was so used to the Burgess Meredith version from the 60's series until this came out. The Penguin is a terrific villain in the Batman Universe...I wonder when they'll bring him into the new films? It will also be hard to top this movie's Catwoman, so it should be interesting to see how the new on fares.

  • @EvilShadow76 Perhaps in 'The Dark Knight sequel, the Penguin might appear. And if he did, I say Nolan should hire Danny DeVito to reprise the role becuase he sure was awesome in Batman Retirns.

  • @EvilShadow76

What do you think of Paul Williams and Andrienne Barbeau as Penguin and catwoman?

  • Anne Hathaway is playing Catwoman in The Dark Knight sequel.

    *Facepalm*

  • @tikifreakazoid lol...it can really go both ways. Although, I can't get princess diaries out of my head when it comes to hathaway. She's got a really bubbly cheerful face, not really selina kyle.

  • @dendara100

After the train wreck that was Halle Barry's portrayal... anyone is a step up

  • @coffan88 that just may be true. lol.

  • @tikifreakazoid

Don't facepalm just yet. A lot of people had reservations about Heath Ledger as the Joker. Watch the movie first, THEN decide if it's deserving of a facepalm. *lol*

  • @Bobzeaux Fair enough, but still, I wonder how he came to that casting decision.

  • I love this song, it's perfect for this movie. But I always thought it'd be a good Bond theme song too.

  • Great sequel and the last good Batman film in the formal series. Michelle Pfeiffer was hotter than hell in this movie. It's a real shame that Burton didn't direct the next two films.

  • @TheAltair4

Yes Schumacher's movies were crap but good to make fun of in a MST3K kind of way since i own the Batman Anthology on Blu-Ray and i love how Schumacher made fun of his own movies on the commentaries and he even said he was sorry making them, glad Nolan rebooted the series after the damage they did.

  • @TheAltair4

Do you think Michelle was as good as Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Andrienne Barbeau?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I thought she was better than all of them combined actually. She truly was born to play Catwoman and i thought the casting for this film was flawless. It's my third favorite Tim Burton film with Edward Scissorhands being first and Beetlejuice second.

  • @TheAltair4

Yes but do you think Ann Hathaway will live up to all four of them?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Well, Anne is a good actress and she's hot too so i think she ought to at least measure up to Michelle.

  • @TheAltair4

Do you think Barbeau is the second best?

  • @Johnlindsey289 For me i guess it's a tie between Adrienne and Julie for second best because they are both very good.

  • @TheAltair4

What did you think of Eliza Dushku as Catwoman/Selina on Year One? Year One both graphic novel and animated movie features my least liked version of Catwoman despite her costume is great but she looks unattractive and looks like Sinead O'Conner with the shaved head and was a hooker swimming in diseases.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I liked the Year One version myself and the sexy Eliza Dushku was a great choice to voice her.

  • @Johnlindsey289

There's noway Anne will live up to Pfeifer.

  • @Ladiesman1447

What do you think of Newmar, Meriwether and Andrienne Barbeau from Batman TAS?

  • @Ladiesman1447 I know. I think Anne might suck at it.

  • @anthonymarsh1

Possibly, people always say "trust Nolan, he knows what he's doing", but his casting of women in the past two Batman films hasn't been that great.

  • in fact i have it

  • there is now a complete verison available @ lalalandrecords

  • i love this movie....and i absolutely adore this song and music....it's a soooooooo perfect batman/catwoman love song....

  • I love both batman series, thats tim burtons and chris nolans, and lets just go ahead and forget that joel fuckface schumachers ever happened

  • @soontobe1982

And do you love the animated movies and animated Batman show?

  • I hear you, shalomamigos. By the way, I liked the first movie better. Personally, I think the second one was more unrealistic. For example that mobile phone sonar thing, or the batpod. And I felt that the story-line was a bit longer, than expected. So, I wasn't satisfied with second one, myself. :P But maybe, we felt this kind of thing in different ways. Let's hope, the director will fix this in the third movie. :)

  • @TheEmptiness42 Unrealistic as opposed to the complete realism of penguins living under the sewers and then being sent to blow up Gotham with missiles strapped to their backs.

  • @kylethehannah The Tim Burton's Batman movies were different. That is all. But, I liked the Nolan movies better. A lot better...

And, I agree with the penguin part. :D It was... Ahhh, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Good movies! :)

  • OK Blitzbok. Then let's take out all the characters, actors and extras. What do you have? Don't get me wrong, Tim Burton's Batman movies were brilliant. I like them. But come on, Batman Begins was boring? You can't be serious. If every second minute is about explosions, you would enjoy it? :P

  • @TheEmptiness42 I think Batman Begins and The Dark Knight didn't have enough style. Almost as if Batman was working in broad daylight. Sometimes they felt more like a political thrillers than Batman movies. Harvey Dent got more attention than Scarecrow, who was more intimidating and creepy as Dr. Crane. I enjoyed the movies, but also felt a little disconnected.

  • Batman (1989) > The Dark Knight > This one > Batman Begins > those other 2 campy movies

  • @Korrux I agree.

  • @Korrux

What about the animated batman movies and the 1966 movie?

  • Batman Returns stands head and shoulders above the Dark Night. Not only in terms of a superior lineup of actors with actual screen presence, scripting, atmosphere and directing, but a vastly superior, and more distinctive soundtrack. This was one of my favourites.

  • Personally, I've always counted Batman Returns as the 3rd greatest "Batman" film ever made behind Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

  • @mmmmmmmmmm9999 Batman Begins was by far the most boring, and Dark Knight was basically Ledger all by himself. Both have a very weak cast of actors, weak script, weak soundtrack, dreary and slow plot and no atmosphere. Though Dark Knight was less so than Batman Begins. Take Ledger out of DK, and you have a movie as equally bland as Batman Begins. But then who can compete with Burton and Elfman? A hugely dynamic duo.

  • @Blitzbok weak script? weak cast? weak soundtrack? What planet are you on?

  • bittersweet, and beautiful.

  • I liked the score for Batman Returns and its final end credits that faded off nicely to Siouxsie & The Banshees “Face to Face” also the music scoring mix by Shawn Murphy was nice done

  • Ive been hearing rumors that Angelina Jolie is considering to play Catwoman if she is in the next Batman movie. I judt don't see Angelina Jolie walking around in black skin tight vinyl and a whip.

  • @RealDarkInuyasha I see angelina jolie walking around in black skin tight vinyl and a whip in my dreams every night.

  • I love this batman film! i also think that nobody can top michelle pfeiffer's catwoman! she was amazing in this movie!

  • i agree... i looooveeeeeeeeee her catwoman....soooo dangerous and sexy....

  • totally agree, the best catwoman ever!! so sad they dumped the plans about a spinoff back then. michelle pfeiffer was the ultimate catwoman in this movie!!! :))

  • Batman Returns (1992) was one the first Dolby stereo SR-D films!

  • @bats70 michelle pfeiffer epitomizes the sultry sexiness with cool composed intelligence that was Catwoman. It's hard to top that.

  • @bats70 she was fantastic, one of her best roles

  • @bats70

What did you think of Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether in the 60's show and what about Andrienne Barbeau in the animated show?

  • @bats70 I agree .

  • always liked this. sad in its way

  • great film i hope mary winstead should be the new catwoman

  • What ??? are you kidding me friend ??? that girl cant be catwoman, nobody could make it as Michelle did...

  • how about kate nash ?

  • Hummmm but she has not a "feline" face...

I think that Michelle's face is unique...she has everything to be a cat.

Maybe, Mademoiselle Sophie Ellis Bextor could be a new catwoman... she's very sensual and has an exotic face, just as Michelle's...

    See ya'

    Luchianoxxx

  • my favorite scene in the whole movie, thx for the upload =)

  • I was looking for this one.
