  • Had a friend of me in car tuning club had this once, he tried a burnout in his skyline R33 and he had so much bhp the water pump broke off because of too high pressure, enormous cloud of steam came out of the hood and everyone was like wtf o_O

  • @DjayJohn I was just thinking that or a radiator hose had blown off. The crackle could be the coolant hitting the radiator fan.

    eclipse gsx 1100hp, remember these are 4 bangers. ... btw your domestics can handle hps but they cant put them to the ground.

  • comparing apples and oranges. No matter what you do to a 4 cyl it will never be as fast as a 8 cyl if they are both modded.

    and fyi domestics do put the hp to the ground if you get some nice tires and a nice drag suspension setup.

    so you really cant compare 4 cyl to 8 cyl when your talking about making power.

    4 cyl has other uses . maybe in use for making a lightweight track car?

  • How is that stupid? 4 cylinders by nature aren't intended to run High horse power applications. The only way to get power out of them is to make them think they have more displacement than they actually have. Which is called FORCED INDUCTION. And they suffer even when they do because the engine layout lacks torque which is the pushing power that gets you moving. HP is just what you're able to do with it. Any 4 banger making more than 400hp and is remotely reliable requires a stronger bored block
