There is a product that eradicates Psoriasis and other skin diseases it is from the aiam. Check it out the medication is FDA approved and the product works. Why you mostly have not heard of it is due to the major pharmaceutical companies not wanting you to know about it. They would rather have you treated time and time again than to eradicate it. If it doesn't come back then how do they get paid. Also why would your dermatologist tell you about it humm lets think.
I stoppped taking em after I was 21 it didn't get any better and use very mild topical steriods but now. MY back spine is killing me. Having trouble working and it hurts so bad and I have no medical coverage. I'm trying to wait until I finish college to seek treatment as it should be easier without having to pay tuition. I physically can't do much right now and I used to jog, play ball, bike and hike and now I sit in bed and take advil if i need to go to the store, or class.
you should message me! if a 14 year old girl and i have these problems :/ i got rheumatoid arthritis when i was 9 and now i have psoriatic arthritis and im 14. no one understands me! if you are around my age and have arthritis like mine too, please message me. id love to talk about it.
I could deal with having it in my ankles and knees, but I'm worried it's in my wrist as I play guitar, piano and drums. And it stops me from playing for a period of at least 4 days a month. Which is very unfortunate. But, with all the medical advances being made, I'm hoping they can find a cure.
Hey man, I know your pain. I've had Psoriatic Arthritis since I was about 12. I'm from Australia and it's a horrible thing to deal with. i was a Goalkeeper in a Soccer team and I had to stop playing at 15 as I was unable to even walk anymore. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 15 (after I stopped playing soccer). I hate it with a passion. It started out in my Ankles and Sub Tailor joints in my feet, and has now progressed to my Knees and my left wrist.
I feel your frustratoin jacob i have had psoriasis since i was 6 and the psoriatic arthritis since i was 25 but at least i managed to have a whole lot of activity before the illness. If you keep your chin up more people understand than you think. I am now 32 and still having flare ups but as i say people should accept you for you not your disease and if they don't then they are obviously not worth the worry. Just remember there are loads of us here for you
God bless you Jacob. I am 51 and was diagnosed with psoriasis and the accompanying arthritis when I was 35. It has been a constant battle, but we finally found something that works very well to keep it cleared up. Enbril is a miracle drug in my opinion. After 13 years of trying one thing then another we finally moved to UV B light treatment but all that got me was stage 3 malignant melanoma and major surgery to rid myself of the cancer. Luckily that was 6 years ago and I am cancer free.
When I was in 7th grade, my dermatologist recommended I soak my fingertips in a solution, then put a topical ointment on, and cover them with tape. So it looked like I was wearing thimbles on each finger tip. Edward Scissor hands!!
Now, PsA is acting up, and I'm 45. My back is killing me, as are other joints, but Methotrexate, Enbrel, look too frightening. What are you on now???
Thanks Jacob that was a cool video and really encouraging, i have a mild case but im becoming more aware of the need for treatment and healthy living.
ive have psoriasis..i was born with it when i turned 2 it disappeared...when i was in 6th grade i started to get it again ! now that i am in 10th grade i still have it...ppl in school would ask me what it was so i would get sad just thinking about it..! i've been to alot of doctors and noting works:(
I used to have arthritis pain all throughout my body, had pain for years and years, not until a friend of mine told me about an all natural, little known protein, did my pain go away.
i have psoriatic arthritus and im 14 i have it in my 2 feet hip neck jaw and thumbs its painful but you live with it i have methotrexate every monday & blood tests xxx
@genevarena Ive had it real bad for over 20yrs.now,I feel for you cause I know what youre going through,my skin has gotton way better than it was though my joints that have become involved are really bad,the linning around my lungs,my spine, neck and hips, what can I say,It sucks.
I have Psoriatic Arthritis in my right wrist and right knee. But luckily for me the doctor told me that I have minimal symptoms which means that even though I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. I don't have Psoriasis.
i have psoriatic(sp.) arthritis, my foot is super swollen all the time as is my thumb,it is painful to get out of bed everymorning much less goto work, where im on my feet 8plus hours.are there natural cures remidies..ect ect..?please help this has sucked for 3 years,i dont have health insurance and cant really afford a doctor..
you can try Ivy, cook 150 gram vom Ivy in 2 liter water, let it slowly cool down, than use it every day over your whole body as cleaning water, it helpd your skin a lot - I do it too - and it works. Good luck. TRY IT AND EVERYBODY OF YOU OUT THERE!!!
Ivy is antibiotic, antibacteriell - and so on.... no chemie
I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and live in super hot Houston, TX. I'm 33 now and was diagnosed 7 years ago. It helps me more than I could ever put into words just hearing someone else going through what I go through.
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis when i was 12, but i've had pain & stiffness in most of my joints for most of my life I wuz on 3 meds called plaquenil mobic & like u a weekly shot called methotrexate my dr. wanted 2 stop the mobic b cuz of some of the side affects tht it caused & we had 2 stop the methotrexate 4 the same reasons I spent most of my life in hospitals 2 & feel the same way u do bout the whole normal life thing i wish u the best of luck in living with yur psoriasis.
hi, my story is that i developed psorasis when i was 3, and then arthritis when i was 6, which has now spread to every joint in my body. I also have crohns to top it all off. My psorasis is pretty bad, so I have to walk around in long trousers and jumpers just to hide it. I completely agree with jacob with everything he says. I am on methotrexate injections weekly, along with an infusion every 6 weeks which I have to be on all day. It sucks when your 18 and have to go through this all your life!
I have had this same condition for about 5 years myself. I just recently discovered DMSO for the arthritis from Dr Stanley Jacobs. You can get it online and it will give you your life back as far as the arthritis but as far as the psoriasis itself, i use MG 217 Sal-Acid Ointment. It removes all the scales associated with it but does not prevent them from re-forming. It is great to have something that removes them completely when it forms really thick. Also rub on Colloidal Silver liquid.
ive had it now for nearly two years, i lived a very healthy life and active life up til that point, with body building, martial arts, hill running. then all of a sudden everything went tits up. the life i'd been living for 22 yrs had gone. its a terrible terrible illness. but i persisted with herbal remedies and natural solutions and refused drugs etc, and now im doing a lot better, i can walk without a limp, i can clench my fists, my nails aren't as bad and i went on a run only a month ago,
People don't understand when I tell them I can't do things, I guess because you can't see pain on the outside. Just to know there are others out there seems to help.
Hey, here's my story. I got Psoriatic Arthritis about 5 years ago. I've been off and on Humira injections due to getting infections. In 2005 I rode the MS150 on my bicycle, now I can't even climb on it.
Getting up in the morning is the worse! My P is not that bad, but the PsA part makes up for it. I applied for dissablilty 3 years ago and I'm still waiting a hering date. Sometimes I wish I had cancer or something else because at least there would be a end insite.
wow..... iv had P for about 8 years now and not until last oct. or nov. they found out it was PA it sucks having to go threw it right now my P is out of control on my body not so much on my faces , neck ,elbow's i try to keep it under control with my lotions, pills & injections i take those every 4 days which sucks cuz i heal hella slow when i get cut or something like that but it works wonders for me ...... umm thats all i have to say i think
Brookers, I hope you're staying on top of the med treatments available. Jacob has had great success with Enbrel, and they have a patient assistance program if your insurance doesn't pay for the drug.
I'm 38 and have suffered from PA since I was 14 as well. Enbrel is the best medication I have been on over the years by far. Call the Encourage Foundation (by Enbrel) 1-888-436-2735. If you require other medications call the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) at 1-888-4PPA-NOW or visit pparx (dot) org. They will take info from you and send you a personalized booklet with contact info for each medication and who to call to get it free or even a grant to help pay for meds.
@lollybell47 what drug are you taking metho/ enbrel... I've had psoriasis for for 12 years now.. I'm 23 years old and yes I went through the same things in school through all grades I can remember. It was on my sclap, face, and arms and legs. Never took any orals until I was 18 they helped and reduced the area to just my legs, however
@brookers311 I have it too but I have found a lot of relief from the nightshade diet (avoid eating nightshade flower vegitables) in conjunction with the usual drugs so now I don't notice it hardly when before I was basically bedridden.
i think this is really great that you did this video, the same thing is going on with me and ive been searching for someone to talk to going through the same thing
Please feel free to contact me through the Arthritis Foundation office in Houston, 713.942.9063 any time! Just let them know you're looking to talk to Jacob about his experiences with the disease. They will put you in direct contact with us if you will leave them your contact info.
