5 dogs v.s fullgrown big cat? Even 6 hyenas have hard time to kill male lion and 3 of hyenas end up dead and two hyena are seriously injured. And yes tigers are known to kill 15 wolves and displace whole wolf packs in some areas. Only 30 or more wild canids are required to seriously injured any big cats (wolves, dholes, wild dogs etc)

kangal have been know to kill lions look it up and the caucasian lion dog which is 250 lbs 6ft plus have high pain freshhold and very thick coat made to stop claws and same size head as male lion with a 650lb bite force and 2 inch teeth very fast and muscular body and nether backs down know to hold a lion and not let go untill shook to death lions cant bite there neck iver because its got very thick coat all the way around lol

The tiger was found almost in the house. No one would know unless the man confessed. And if the police somehow knew, he could say the tiger had attacked him. You can kill any animal in self defence. He preferred not to, and I'm really glad for his decision.

Endangered species means nothing in Russia. Unfortunately, but quite true. A year ago poaching on this species of tiger (which are less than 500 in the wild) would cost you 100-200 US dollars. Doubt anything has changed since then. Nature is not among priorities in Russia today. And that's a pity.
