  • Whenever people say they do wrong, you don't dig that back up. It's as simple as that.

  • LOL get over yourself um hello she made a SEX tape And shes a soilder.....for what ? i'll be back to see what you all have to say lol this is too good....

  • I agree that these turn of events are quite unfortunate-- but I'm not going to judge her for it. People make bad and good decisions--my video is praising her demonstration of courage at the pageant (whether you agree with her or not). I don't condone bad behavior, but I also don't know much about the details behind the Sex tape to comment on it. I do know that the tape was made long before the pageeant, so Carrie's views then is probably a more current representation of what she believes.

  • SO your not going to judge her for haveing a sex tape, then lieing about your age and being down right cocoky about all the while parading your hyperreligiosity,,are you kidding me ???

  • I will not judge her. Neither will I judge homosexuals. I believe you have to be a perfect person to be able to judge someone and I am not perfect. Only God is perfect. I will praise someone for doing something awesome, like sticking up to one's own beliefs when the stakes are very unfavorable. But whatever bad a person is reported to do, i cannot comment on unless I've been affected by or have seen such a deed myself.

  • Jimmi ,it is ok to make a judgement on someone who professes Morality then announces publically she takes issues with some one elses morality,,that is a Judgemtnent on the publics part by saying this woman is just a silly fool, very poor judgement on her part.

  • thank u

  • It was Miss California USA 2009 in the Miss USA pageant not the Miss America pageant. She blown her change at winning

the crown I understand she does not agree with same sex marriage but if she answered in a different way she maybe would have won the crown,

  • YEA RITE!!!!!!!!!!!! it was totally unfair and no matter how she said it she would still have lost and been criticized! its so sad how ppl can speak their mind and be criticized for it! this was not hate speech or anything like that she was simply giving her opinion.

  • I agree with you. I support gay marriage but also support free speech and it was very brave of her to risk jeoprdising her position in the pageant to xpress her oppinion. She xpressed it very politely too

  • you are great!! your video is number one! we need more people like you. in this country people who speak up against the popular belief get criticized

  • we need more bigots in this country? seriously.... get a clue. there are gay people in the world, and they deserve all the rights you enjoy.

  • marriage is for a man and woman... simple as that... they can be gay all they want but when they try to interfere with my life and my family and think they deserve the same rights as i do... NO!

  • Yes! because if you're straight and married your house will be invaded and a "Gay" married couple will copulate in front of you and the whole extent of your living family... on your birthday... from out of a cake & you're not allowed to enjoy it. (seriously though) If civil unions weren't a cruel joke that might aliviate the need, keeping in mind that a marriage is settled between a couple/ A religious athourity/ the county/ and the propper witnesses. you are not involved... UR insignificant

  • Af,,gay marriage is already here and will go federal with in 10 yrs or less,,its already in 5 states and getting ready for 2 more .

  • opefully we can stop it

  • HELL YEA MAN!!!

  • Yo, I agree, JiminL. However, there is one thing that cannot be ignored. Any gay couple is in love, may be madly in love, with their partners, just like you are with your girlfriend (if you have one) or would be (if you'd met one). How would you feel if society prevented you from getting married to her? or even, if your parents would be against only because the girl you chose was for example atheist or jewish or some other sort?

  • hey RobertFeast, thanks for the insightful comment. you make a valid point, and I can understand that it could be a frustrating matter especially if you don't hold the same value systems as, say a Christian. I don't believe in judging others, and neither do i view myself better than anyone else; I do believe and hold what the Bible says to heart, and I would have to believe and support it's principles in its Spirit.

  • Answering your question, I would definitely feel bad if I couldn't marry the girl of my dreams who is an atheist or whatever, but i have agreed to myself already that the values i hold have the final say and priority. I know that you may disagree with me--if the values I and other Christians hold don't apply to you, why should you comply?-- but i think that's a compromise we have to make in a democratic society--we can express opnions, challenge government, but in the end, it's about the votes.

  • If the status quo of the marriage situation were against what I believed in for example, I too would challenge the government, exercise my rights to free speech and protest, but I would do it peacefully as long as I live in a society that protects my basic rights, and if I can live freely the way I believe in. But anyway, I'm sorry for the long answer. peace.

  • bible tells us:

    kill homos

    avoid women on periods

    kill disobedient children

    kill sunday workers

    kill people that eat shellfish

    great moral code

    go bible go

  • The New York Times Review on Citizen's Kane (a long time ago) includes the words "bad" and "movie," but they surely didn't call it a bad movie. likewise, the Bible taken in context is an amazing book. I don't have enough characters to explain why the things you mentioned are in the Bible, but maybe we can exchange emails to discuss it later, only if you want though. peace.

  • we have to understand. lets all be naked. there is a man and a woman. when there is a child. who breast feeds the baby. and who actually has the baby for 9 month. it is the woman. gay marriage is taking Women's right as well. hehehehh

  • Dude it's hella messed everyone is giving mean comments!!! Go get a life and post some nice ones!

  • HEY ASIAN DUDE! U R FREAKIN AWESOME! I totally and completely agree with you! great video dude!

  • haha, Thanks bro!

  • ehhhhh im a girl.... but ur welcome

  • oh, i'm sorry, haha,

but thanks again for your vid comment!

  • Listen to urself u piece,

u calling me racist is like me calling u a socialist, wat ur saying makes no sense at all, If i remember correctly when pelosi and all of her cronies got elected they started passing all of that bs talking about wat businesses can and can't do which was the start of all these bankrupcies, get a little educated then talk to me

  • Its Perez and all those other liberals who are ruining this country by saying that if you have your own opinion serperate from their views then you are wrong just because they're so full of themselves to accpet any other ideas.

  • Well I guess that would be your opinion wouldnt it..... See you can have one of those since we live in America. Feels nice doesnt it. Unfortunately for you however, her poise was unyielding during her entire answer(hint: Runner up.....) so that pretty much shoots down your rebuttle.

  • Im sorry to inform you akFortySevn, but you are wrong. It is NOT the opinions of the pagent contestants that matter. If you knew anything about pagents you would know that its not what the opinion is in reference to the question asked, but the poise and class that is used to answer the question. You were wrong on another count as well..Its was courageous of her to answer that question with such honesty, she knew her honesty would rattle cages.

  • Well as far as "poise" points,

    "I think I believe"...

    Pretty much shatters those points.

  • Fuck you !

  • Wow, is that the most intelligent rebuttle you have for this topic? Your not helping your own cause.... thats for sure!

  • Hi akFortySevn, thanks for your opinions. I will just ask, how can you represent the opinions of an entire country when even two people disagree with things? The burden of representation is not on the people in a democracy-- the people have opinions, and the Majority is represented.

    -peace-

  • Really, politicians do things in the same way.

Perez Hilton himself said that she should have said something like "I believe each state should be able to make their own decision" etc etc.

She should have answered it that way.

If she had said "nobody should get married", that would have gotten even more criticism, and no one would argue that she deserved the title. I think we're finally reaching a point where not believing in gay equality is "edgy" or "across the line".

  • Not an act of courage.

Yeah, she can "have her own opinions", but so does every other pageant contestant.

What your opinions are DO MATTER when you're vying for a title that represents an entire country.

  • Wrong! Opinions arent what is supposed to be judged....Or else she wouldnt have made runner up. What is being judged is sincerity of the answer and poise of the contestant. She fulfilled her duties with a great deal of sincerity and class. Too bad we cant say the same for Perez.

  • It was that of a plastic peroxide bottle blonde with fake boobs and a hate agenda. There are dozens of drag queens impersonating her now and they look so much better. I love hearing her say, NO COMMENT.

  • Hey,,,Prejean just got fired! LOL

  • perez hilton is an idiot with no brain.

  • Props to her. I agree

  • Comment removed

  • She alienated so many people. Most of us forget that marriage is about love...how would you like it if someone told you that you couldn't marry the person you loved? Oh and the day is coming when gay and lesbians will have the right to marry in all 50 states.

  • j0elyrancher, you think Carrie Prejean "alienated so many people"...how about the judge Mario Lavandeira? He spends his days writing deeply personal, malicious and hateful comments about public figures - does he not alienate those people or the fans of those people? The man is a complete self-centred hypocrite who can't handle it when anyone dares disagree with his agendas.

  • so she should have alienated the conservatives and majority of america who agree with her on that view.

  • I think you're wrong...I think most people agree with Miss California. I'm not talking east or west coast...there is a whole nation out there other than the coasts.

  • I support Miss California for being honest !...and it was very brave of her to remain true to herself and beliefs....and everyone is entitled to their own beliefs...and I think marriage should only be between a man and a woman also

  • I agree with you totally, it is not easy to be honest and speak the truth when the truth is potically incorrect. I am very proud of her especially knowing she may loose her crown for what she said. I heard she gave up a semester of school to prepare for the contest, it was very important to her. Way to go Carrie KCL

  • when he touched his nose saying that her was happy and stuff about north carolina winning... that ment he was lying or didn't really care

  • Comment removed

  • I've seen a description of the study you're talking about on TV, and I believe the researchers used Bill Clinton's Monica Lewinsky speech as an example, but honestly, my nose was itching.

  • Great point. if miss America is supposed to "represent Americans like Perez says...wow..well yea it should inspire Americans to do what's right, and fight for what they believe in. If this woman was willing to throw all of what she's worked for in life just to speak her mind and say what she believes in well, My God she deserves the most respect. and then Hilton trash talks her...as if he was in the position to talk badly about others

  • Too bad no one can speak what one believes, I guess she should have lied how she felt to make gays happy???

  • Instead of playing eogmaniac troll on You Tube, why don't you clean that filthy room behind you.

  • Hahah, yeah, i do need to do that. I actually moved out two days ago, so thankfully it's all clean now.

  • I love the way religious people feel entitled to their Bigotry because of their religion. Hiding behind a bible does not make you a righteous religious person, you are still just a Bigot. The idea that all of us sane non-religious people have to respect your Bigotry because of your "Religious Freedom" is complete bullshit.

I hope she loses her crown on monday.

  • Opposite Marriage? Opposite Marriage is Divorce. She is a moron.

  • I can't wait till some asshole calls you a chink. Then you'll know what it feels like when some stupid hick bitch alienates everyone with her cavewoman era views on the world. You're a stupid kid with even stupider parents. How long have they been here in the US? Two-weeks?

  • obviously you're no better than the hypothetical "hick bi** alienat(or)" you are talking about . And you know, I've already been called "chink" many times, it seems like my citizenship is not enough for me to pass as an American. Or my father's 20 year service in the US Airforce enough to merit some kind of metaphorical pat on the back, instead I get some racist remark from an anonymous kid who is afraid of people who exercise their 1st Amendment rights. I am more American than you are.

  • You completely missed my point. I never called you a chink, I said I wished someone would so you could feel the hurt that Ms. Prejean caused when she "expressed" her fifties era views on gay marriage. Unlike her, I don't alienate anyone with hurtful remarks. You just don't see that you're as ignorant and last year as she is. It takes time to realize how dumb you are. Anyone this happy that someone is against gay marriage is gay. Look-up "glory hole" because that's what you'll be working in 5 yrs

  • And don't send me personal messages you insecure little fucker. I feel so sorry for you. It must suck to be in your sad little world where you judge and malign people who just want some happiness. You have no idea how life really is. So throw some more shit on people because that's what everyone needs right now. You suck and I'm so happy I'm not you.

  • To all Youtubers: my personal message to moviedan was an apology for calling him a "kid."

To Moviedan: i'll talk to you when you're done venting.

Look no further than your own words: "I don't alienate anyone with hurtful remarks."

Okay now, let's see what you say against me:1)stupid kid with even stupider parents 2)...how dumb you are 3)...insecure little fuc*er 4)You suck and I'm so happy I'm not you.

Text-book hypocrisy? Now, did I use any of those words to describe you or gays?

  • Moviedan, I know the speaker of this video really well, and TRUST ME, you don't need to "feel sorry for him." jiminL is one of the smartest guys I know. He has a Duke education, was an International Finalist for presenting his research in cancer biology, and he's won way too many debate trophies for me to count. Sorry Jimin--you're just too humble so I have to say all that for you, and good luck in Tanzania this summer.

Moviedan, i don't know you, but you're obviously out of this guy's league.

  • Absolute rubbish. You have NO IDEA of my educational background nor do you know what position I hold in life. Trust me, by the look of his bedroom, he's not all that. But nice try with the Duke cancer researcher story. If that's all you can throw my way, you're an EPIC douche. I wonder how many Duke graduates idolize Carrie Prejean? What a laughable thought.

  • that's his college dormitory you dumb ass. obviously you've never been to college to know what a dorm looks like. and why would i bs about his research? here is a clip from the Memphis Chamber: Lee, a senior from the South Carolina Governors School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville, SC entry was Expressing siRNA for polymerase II promoter by generating a pSK-hTERT-DR (plasmid) for cFLIPs. A senior, Lee will be attending Duke University in the fall.

  • "Fells and Lee will represent the Southeast Region in the International 2007 sanofi-aventis

Challenge finals in Boston. The two were selected from nine state winners in a regional competition held Satur-

day at the FedEx Institute" ----- your educational background sucks so much that you won't even reveal it. lol....fail

  • hey bro, thanks for defending me, but , I'm trying to keep a low profile about my personal life. I totally appreciate you but you don't have to defend me anymore. I'm just gonna have to block moviedan.

Moviedan: sorry, but i'm gonna have to block you--I'm not against people who disagree with me (as you can see from the many comment responses I've made with others on this page) but I cannot tolerate senseless derogation without intellectual/respectful discussion.

  • One more time....

Someone with a "Duke" education finds A DIMWIT BIGOT BEAUTY QUEEN to be their hero yet can't pronounce the bitch's last name!

That's priceless. It really is. And I can assure you this little bookworm would be hiding under a table during a debate with me on this topic. This kid hasn't lived life and what a sad life it's going to be. Maybe Prejean will sit on his little cock when he gets a job.

  • your clearly an ultra foolish hypocrite like your god perez hilton. All you gays and your supporters are hating hypocrites going around comparing yourselves to blacks which clear is a great difference. Apart from that, while you claim hate and intolerance you disrespect and called a person all sorts of names.

You said you wish he would have someone be racist to him that means your a racist too, you dumb fuck. You gays are the biggest bigots of all time and you all hate the most.

  • "...To all YouTubers?....

    No one's watching this. It's a bomb.

  • Equality People !!! She is a COCK

  • Get a better hero, my friend. Number one, she was wrong, she said she thought it was great Americans had a choice, they don't in 46 states. Number 2, 57% of Americans oppose gay marriage, 30% support. So it's not really speaking out boldly with a minority view, is it. But it's OK, 90% of American opposed interracial marriage in 1948.........Ellen is a HUGE first step in Americans personally accepting gays, she's liked by SO many people, it's a chance for millions to see gay people are OK.

  • first of all, love and respect to you--thanks for commenting on this page. secondly, a lot of people compare gay marriage to interracial marriage, but i wouldn't call that a parallel issue; i won't get into the logic or philosophy of that argument, but it's like me bringing up how polygamy should be legalized, etc. We should deal with gay marriage if that's the topic we're talking about. Prejean's opinion was a "minority view" in the Pageant competition, so she did have a lot at stake.

  • Respect right back at ya. Afterall YOU made a video and put yourself out there. Props to ya.

My main point is that she was wrong on the facts. MOST Americans don't have the option of gay marriage, not in 46 states (I think Iowa just came on board-45).

I don't think you can measure the popularity of Prejean's opinion in the competition, but I'd guess there are more rather than fewer traditionalists involved.

  • My numbers were as of '96......and I was WRONG! I confess! (with a smile) The most current polls, an ABC if you want to research it, show 49% of Americans supporting gay marriage, 46% thinking it should be illegal, with me STILL wondering why the state has an interest in marriage and thinking it should be up to YOUR church and YOUR faith.

  • I think she meant that they have a choice of what side of the fence they want to be on-- whether they are in support of gay marriage or not. I was confused at first too, but I am pretty sure that is what she meant though I think it could have been articulated better.

  • Our beliefs definitely influence what we think about what others should be able to do. its like "i dont think this is right. so i dont think you should do this" youre not going to say "i dont think this is right, but you know, i think you should be allowed to do it" it is partially about beliefs. but its also about what she thinks is correct.

  • yeah. this is just stupid. thats like saying "oh i dont believe that we should murder! but i think YOU should have the right!" whats the difference. what if some people believe that murder is okay huh? it is great we have choice. but theres a line between what people bELIEVE is morally correct

  • I agree that Miss California showed courage in stating her opinion -- and I'll put my cards on the table, I disagree with her - but (biased) Perez had a point. Basically this was a question of diplomacy. Even if she had said "Yes, in my country, I believe gays should have marriage rights, I'm sorry to offend anyone" she still would have lost the competition because as a pagent queen she represents herself and also represents a body of people. She wasn't able to find the balance on a hot topic.

  • Also I think Perez overreacted by calling her a dumb bitch! Seriously, it was a bad answer, but as a judge he showed poor judgement and worse, now she's a poster child!

  • Totally true, it's such bull shit she was shot down for standing up against a tyrant.

  • shot down??? This bimbo is the poster child for NoM, and probably will get a job on FOX from this. She isn't suffering at all, the people that are suffering are the millions of LGBT who are marginalized by this institutionalized bigotry.

  • She didn't even answer his question. She stated what she believes in and didn't address whether STATES should follow suit in allowing same sex marriage. Saying you don't believe in same sex marriage doesn't mean that you should deny marriage to those who do. Some religious people don't believe in sex before marriage, but they don't have laws barring it. Some religious people don't believe in birth control, but that isn't against the law (although it used to be). Its just not a good argument

  • I agree with you. Here is the full question. How did Miss California correctly answer it? She didn't. She gave her PERSONAL opinion even though she wasn't asked for it.

"Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?"

  • well apparently she has to give her own opinion. you cant just assume that she has the voice of like 20 million people of california or however many there are. this is whether she believes the states should. and she said no, because she HERSELF believes otherwise. its a direct correlation.

she doesnt believe in same sex marriage therefore she doesnt believe others should have same sex marriage. its common sense -__-

  • Wow, she is so heroic to stutter out her opinion that the law ought to treat me as a second class citizen. You sure have a strange understanding of hero...

  • aren't we therefore thankful that we have a democracy ? :)

  • So democracy includes marginalizing LGBT people based on random religious beliefs?

  • One can't margininalize another by speaking his or her own beliefs. But you can marginalize people by forcing them to be silent, even if you don't like what they have to say. Now thankfully, you're not forcing anyone to be silent, and you too are expressing your opinions. But ideologically, if you had it your way, would you want Miss California then to be silent about what she personally believes?

  • The view that Carrie promotes is that LGBt people don't deserve marriage, that is marginalization!!! Calling Carrie an idiot is not the same as supporting laws that make her a second class citizen.

Do I want her to be silent? Well, please remember that "freedom of speech" has to do with the law, so I don't support any law that would penalize her for speaking out, however, I am not acting as a legal representative, so don't invoke the 1st amendment when I condemn her for her beliefs.

  • JIminL - Where was Miss California asked to state what her personal beliefs were about same-sex marriage?

  • lol, thats what she was asked. she was asked "do you THINK every state.." thats asking for her own beliefs

  • Perez didn't ask, "What are your personal beliefs about same-sex marriage?"

    He asked her:

Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?"

If she was against same-sex marriage, there would have to be some legal reason since it is a legal issue.

  • OKay the word THINK implies that youre giving your own opinion.

theres no right wrong here. its what you believe yourself. miss ca said on idk what fox? that she didnt agree with the answer miss nc gave for her question. they can answer differently

if there was a right/wrong, then this could easily be something like jeopardy or who wants to be a millionaire

  • I think all Marriage is wrong first off.

Secondly though I disagree with Ms. California I don't or didn't have a problem with her expressing her personal opinion on the matter. And thats what it is. An opinion. Not right or wrong..just personal. Hiltons a dick and a douchewad so what do you expect?

  • I salute Carrie Prejean for standing up for Christ Jesus and spoken out agaisnt gay married because she and everyone knows it wrong . Therefore, I advised anyone who practice this lifesytle to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Jesus is willing to forgive anyone who comes to him.

  • I'm not going to use derogatory language, My point is that Miss America uses the Bible to judge gays and gay marriage, but doesn't use the Bible to judge her own life. Where did Moses, Jesus or Paul say that it was ok for a woman to walk across a stage in a bikini with makeup on and be judged by her beauty? What does the Bible say about how women are to dress and wear their hair? If she's going to judge gays by a Biblical standard, she should live her life by the same Biblical standard.

  • Thank you for being polite and for expressing your opinions. As for your questions, read the book of Ester. Ester and a bunch of other ladies were beautified, were dressed, and had their hair groomed to be "judged" by the King, so that he can pick a new Queen. God used Ester to achieve amazing things for His Kingdom; for example Ester used her political influence to prevent a Jewish genocide. It is a short but interesting book in the Bible that I recommend!

  • Nevertheless, I understand that you are probably saying that before Prejean "judges" gays, she should examine her own life. That's true, no one is perfect except God, and everyone has sinned and fallen short. But I believe Prejean was just expressing her personal opinions about the "definition" of marriage without being judgmental or accusatory towards any one group of people (such as that of the LGBT community).

  • The Miss America pageant is hardly picking a winning woman to marry a King. Did Ester wear a bikini, and makeup also? I promise to read it though. And thanks to you for a polite response.

  • Well said!

  • YES! AWESOME! Great comment!

  • I agree ...

  • I agree with You. She didn't say what people should do or not, but she told what was her opinion about that. A lot o f respect for her. Thanks for the video

  • um

they can't receive benefits like social security, health care, etc bc they cant get married in majority of states

they also cant join the army

so what are you talking about

  • My video is about commending Miss CA for speaking her mind, but in response you use the word chink and call me a "biggot." Both Miss CA and I don't use derogatory terms, and maintain general respect for all people. Having a belief or opinion doesn't make you a bigot, but harrassing others for their beliefs does. Also, people have called me many things; I'm pretty desensitized to such so I don't think my reaction to a "chink" statement would be impressive.

p.s. Bigot is spelled with one g.

  • respect for people and speaking your mind? LOL so if you say politely that you believe a group of people should not have equal rights because they were born different that somehow makes it OK?

you can be polite but you're still a biggot

  • Well you say: Having a belief or opinion doesn't make you a bigot, but harrassing others for their beliefs does.

But it's only because this matter does not affect you. Why then colour people go to protest and express they discontent when racist, nazies or white supremacist express they believes and stands for them firmly? They just have they opinion

  • hi kukurbezdis thanks for commenting. You bring up racists and nazis/white supremacists--- wouldn't you agree that a lot of them harrass others for their beliefs?(especially the nazis, lol).

also, expressing beliefs goes both ways, no matter who is saying what, it's a fundamental right as long as you don't withold the other party's rights to freedom of expression.

  • typical lefty, its only racist if it disagrees with their agenda. while blabbing out any racial slurs as they please...

liberals are a bunch of hypocrites.

  • what agenda? giving all american citizens equal rights? yeah we got an agenda like that. it's what America and the free world was founded on.

    typical right wing idiot.

btw, Liberalism means individual rights. you anti-american torture loving morons wouldn't know anything about that

  • Again, typical brain dead liberal jumping to conclusions. Just because someone thinks you're an idiot and disagrees with your selfish agenda, doesn't automatically make him/her a right winger.

Liberalism is self-serving and does not care about others' rights and freedom, which puts you in the same cesspool.

  • so what's wrong with letting gay people get married? why stand in the way of someone elses happiness? Makes no difference in my life if they do or don't. So to say that they have the benefits with civil unions is stupid. And yeah you're a biggot

  • It's funny to hear that from colour people. Especially blacks absolutely forget the fact that half a century ago they were in a similar situation. These days we understand racism as total bigotry.

What if she would say that she believes that whites should mariage only whites. Would you respect that? Would she still be your hero? At the end of the day is the same opinion

  • The origin of the institution of marriage is based on PROCREATION. The purpose of marriage provides a stable, safe environment for the human race to procreate. Marriage in all cultures, all societies, throughout history, has always been between MEN and WOMEN -- because only MEN and WOMEN can procreate. That's the origin of marriage.

And I'm speaking as a lifelong atheist.

  • The Chinese language predates the Judeo-Christian religion. The representation of the Chinese characters (pictograms) for the word "marriage" are a female being adopted into the (male) household.

But I'm open to support gay marriage... if two men or two women can procreate and make babies by themselves.

  • Here here!

  • What about heterosexual families who cant have children. Why they allowed to marry?

Who said that marriage based on procreation? Who can decide things like that. World is changing and so people's mentality.

I was brought up in a racist family where anyone non white would be not considered a human but I got over it and respect any person

  • I don't like it when people just make up stuff and pull craps out of their asses to support their view.

I am sure you know about this: in the old days, if a wife could not have children, (or even a male heir,) that would have been the ground for the husband to divorce her or take another wife to produce children. That's because marriage was based on procreation and propagation of bloodlines.

  • Dear Speaker, Good job in your comments about the Miss Californian response to the culture wars taken place in America.

  • She is an awesome person. She makes me proud to be a Californian. Perez is soo full of hate. Why the hell was a judge? The Miss usa competition is b.s. Donald Trump is a chump.

  • WAY TO GO DUDE! Miss California had every right to speak her mind! I'm coming from the perspective of being best friends with someone who's bi, but also having been raised conservative. I personally share Miss California's oppinion, but what matters is that she is entitled to her oppinion, and it IS the interview portion of the competition. If you lie in an interview, you're just conforming to what you think society expects of you, and that defeats the entire purpose of freedom.

  • Finally, someone in this wasteland with a

    valid & meaningful discussion!

You are as great a hero as she...

  • P.S. I wasn't being serious...I'd never call you a chink, well....unless we were having sex.

  • let me have the last word....dang it!

  • Hey JiminL

    whats funny about ANTI-GAY blacks.

Blacks in general the world over don't approve of gay marriage.

We don't care about racist whites and rednecks, thats why we are in the democratic party not where those racists are.

    Lets be coherent

  • Huh? I just said the republican party is racist......Most gays are democrat. Its also true that "the world over" most blacks are illiterate.......whats your point? Whats 'funny" about anti-gay blacks is that they arent smart enough to realize that two minority partys dont have to agree with each other to support each other. Lets be coherent

  • Hey clubindiana4

Its also true that most blacks the world over are under economic and political domination by whites.

When did U ever hear that most blacks who are anti-gay support the republicans. Blacks generally are anti-gay marrige for a different reason than the BIGOTS in the republican party are.

Re-read ur last statement and please try to be coherent this time.

  • To JiminL

Yooo U , what do U mean IGNORANCE. Oh, Its not ignorance when whites or your kind disapprove or disagree with gay marriage.

oh, But it is when we blacks do.

Look, we did grasp the fact that those hypocrites killed us THATS WHY WE ARE NOT REPUBLICANS BUT DEMOCRATS.

There is nothing for us to grasp, whites on't speak for us

Damn, and we were getting somewhere.

  • dear upsidedownphysics, I did not say any of the things you proclaimed-- just to clarify to the users, I think you are referring to clubindiana4. Either that, or someone is hacking my site. I believe it is completely legitimate for blacks to have anti-gay opinions, and i agree with your opinions.

  • Hey JiminL

Men I apologize to you. I read that vile person below me and mistook him for you.

    Sorry again I apologize

  • no problem at all. Thanks for expressing your opinions on this page.

  • So....if I say that your a silly looking chink and you should focus on building railroads......then I'm a hero for speaking my mind?

  • Anyone can say anything anonymously. If you say the same thing on your job application, or in front of 1000+ people, then I might consider you a hero.

  • Carrie Prejean displayed courage and grace under pressure. These are qualities that should have helped her in the race for Miss America. However, the very thing that she was complimenting America for ( a land of freedom ) became her undoing. So is this what we have become, a land so bent on pleasing, we cannot have our own convictions. Individuality is dead; long live plurality. It seems our country is headed to socialism; WHAT A PITY...

  • what is heroic about saying that you believe a group of people should not have the same rights as others?

how about if she said asians should not have the same rights as others and I said that she is my new hero?

you biggots will lose just like you have for the past 100 years. Gay people will have their rights just like women and black people got their rights.

And I'm not even gay. just this biggotry and discrimination get to me. Every law abinding citizen should have equal rights.

  • Comment removed

  • A bigot is "a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion." Between you and me, who is more intolerant of the other's beliefs based on our actual comments? I understand your hate for bigotry and discrimination; however I don't see anywhere in my video or even Miss CA comments where either is the case. I personally think the issue on same-sex marriage has such symbolic connotation for oppression of rights that we forget to realize who or what we support or oppose.

  • I disagree....its simple, if Miss California doesn't support gay marriage then she should marry a man. Lashing out at a minority group and stating that she believes that they should be denied basic legal rights makes her a raging cunt.

  • She merely expressed her personal opinion. what happened to her freedom of speech?

I'm sorry you feel that way.

  • Don't misunderstand me......she is entitled to her opinion. So was Hitler. But, I dont have to like it and Im also entitled to express that.

  • True. It just fascinates me that you take it as a personal attack. I'd try to brush it off, If I were you.

Show dignity for those you represent:

    Saddam and Gomorrah.

peuvent ils ne jamais se lever encore?

  • When a public figure states that you should be denied basic legal rights It is a personal attach. Saddam and Gomorrah what? "they can never stand still?" Are you sure you speak french?

  • obviously you possess no understanding of syntax or history.

  • Freedom of speech, but not freedom to marry whom you love.

What a stupid person you are.

  • The fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom.

    Homosexuality is not wisdom.

  • Gay marriage is NOT a basic right.

  • Debatable. If it's a right for opposite sex people to marry it's arguably a right for same sex marriages to exist too. The constitution certainly doesn't include anything limiting it to just men and women. And the right to marry certainly relates to the "pursuit of happiness"

  • It is to me, and I am going to fight until the end of the world for it, you stinking uptight narrow minded racist asshole.

  • I agree bro, men it was wrong for her to be punished for her opinion. I personally don't approve of gay marriage, because I believe in GOD, JESUS and the BIBLE.

Men, people were surprised when 75% of

blacks VOTED DOWN the gay marriage proposal.

I think its just common sense that MAN was made for WOMAN and Vice-versa

  • I always get a laugh out of anti-gay blacks. I think alot of this ignorance is based in a lack of education. I think alot of blacks dont seem to grasp the fact that the right wing whites leading the anti-gay movement are the same people who where riding around on horses wearing bed sheets just a few short years ago. Not all men want to be "on the downlow" like black men.

  • She did not say that any group should not have the same rights as others. Gays already have the same rights as everyone else. E.g a gay man can marry a woman. Gay marriage is special rights.

  • I completely support Gay Marriage and her answer made me sad!

BUT THAT IS BEYOND MY POINT!

This should not have been a question! No matter how she answered it (whether you agree or not) she was going to tick off a large amount of People. There was no way she could have won with that question! It was UNFAIR!!!!! HER ANSWER WAS GOING TO BE PRAISED AND SHAMED NO MATTER WHAT! This gay man says unfair!

  • There are Atheist, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Bahai, Buddists

Jews go by the same bible as the Christians,

    Muslims stone gays,

    Buddists:

Homosexual behavior is a pleasure of the senses," and is thus violates the second of the eight steps.

    Bahai:

The Bahá'í Faith teaches that the only acceptable form of sexual expression is within marriage, and Bahá'í marriage is defined in the religion's texts as exclusively between one man and one woman

    Open mouth insert foot...

  • hmmm u talk like a dumb fagit fob

  • When you get out of kindergarten maybe you will be able to spell better.

  • ride on! I'm with you 100%. what she did was very very courageous, very commendable.

  • how is hitler courageous LOL

  • i think you ment to say perez hilton because he is the same bastard who put up diana death pictures and said it doesnt matter i can still sleep at night. He is also the same guy who rips celebs and their children is that not alienation and divide as well as disrespect please.

  • Courage? That is bull, she is a religious bigot (no offense).

She did not understand who her audience was, only gays watch the pageant. She should have been disqualified for having breast implants. It is a civil rights issue, you agree with equal treatment under the law or you don't? Count her on the side that agrees with discrimination.

Marriage is hardly a sacred institution, divorce and infidelity are rampant, let gays punish themselves if they wish.

  • You are so closed-minded it's pathetic. Anyone who's pro-gay is so disciminatory to anyone religious it's unbelievable. Is anyone religious allowed to voice their beliefs any more? You're right, it is a "civil rights" issue, and that's why "civil unions" carry all the same benefits as marriage. But marriage is between a man and a woman. Marriage IS a sacred institution - it was always intended as such. The unfortunate thing is that people don't always treat it that way.

  • JiminL, loved your post and agree with you that Carrie should be commended for speaking her true belief. One thing I disagree with, I think the majority of Americans WOULD agree with her statement. Marriage is a divine institution between a man and a woman - it always has been. The MAJORITY of Americans believe this, and as such, she represented America. It's a shame the media blows this so far out of proportion and it's ironic that they penalized her for supporting the majority.
