santa fe kicks ass. i don't know what all u ppl r talking about. the food is like no other in the world. i love it. u can also experience many different cultures its so different. it has a nice friendly feeling. my family has been here 4 over 200yrs. i must say though it is not for ppl who r younger. there is nothing 2 do other than party, n go 2 movies. i am young, but i am in2 history, good food, n art. so i love it here.
You must be a real estate agent...Even its locals say its an "over" place as of two decades ago.You might have an agenda, but you are not being honest.Everyone knows the truth about Santa Fe even if they still accept it.
I like Santa Fe, great food, great shops, nice adobes, cool history but I have to say that your ONE strip club on Cerilos road pretty much sucked. I guess Santa Fe is just a little to far from the poor UNM female students who need some easy money.
There is nothing beautiful about Santa Fe because it has been almost totally adobed over by corporate real estate concerns and lack of creativity and magic.Cerillos road is an ugly strip mall main thorofare and the Plaza is only for tourists and is all but ruined of its identity of what was once Santa Fe.People are nasty ,and the great artists and searchers of the past have left this phoney nonsense a long time ago.
I completely disagree. Santa Fe is the Most Magical city in the world. And obviously you have no idea what beautiful means. Santa Fe is unbelievably amazing. Well, us "nasty people" don't want you here either...
@lemonsnlimes333 haha thats what EVERYONE thinks... lol nope! we acutal have a city here with stores and paved roads! but yes, in sooommmeee places there are horses running around, not wild tho
Hyped up,pseudo tourist trap all but raped of its identity by angloization.Architectually, vapid adobe Disneyland.Lots of stagnant,no place to meet anyone there vibes, except the paranoid, depressing health food conglomerates, and lots of racism all over the place.Phoney new age healers, disappointed, depressed transplants, and no water.
Speak on it man! Santa Fe sucks like no other town I've been to!!! The sad part is that I was born and raised in that hell hole and I hated every single day of it!!!
beautiful place santa fe,it's a lovely day when you are there, all the art the shops the culture the enchantment, the opera, the indians and their beautiful art for sale ,and the food, mexican food yummy,so welcoming to people ,go at xmas it's great fun, take a coatt too, somtimes you might get snow, ooh fun fun fun..
i used to live in albuq. I could Probably Not afford to live in Santa Fe. but Yeah its a Nice Place, But now its Getting Crowded. Its NOT for everyone, plus they are running out of Water. So People Stay away, DOn't Move there. YOU Will miss home. Stay Home!! LOL artistiChicana Loves S.Fe art
I used to live in Santa Fe and not a day goes by that I dont regret moving away from there. That happened on November 3, 2003 and Im still kicking myself.
i lived there in 1999, till 2001. There's not a day that goes by that i wish i wasn't there again... I still tell stories of all the amazing things i did while i was there, including the record snow drop on thanksgiving and some of the best raves this world has seen. I'm still trying to explain the clouds i've seen, the ice clouds that billowed over my head within 30-50 ft., and vanished back into the sky, over n over agian. A town center where you could meet everyone by playing hacky sack.
If anyone wants to see Santa Fe thru a ntives eyes with 400 year link to this beautiful place contact me. Google the Hilton and the Ortiz house that is my family. There is so much beneath the surface that a tourist would never see.
Got wild horses in my back yard, and I am between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. You can sometimes see them from route 25 :)

It's too cold for camping now, but there is a hostel on Cerrillos Road... You can try there.
