Am I right in saying that When the Tigers broke Free was not on the album the Wall? I don't remember hearing it when I listened to the Wall, but it's been awhile.

@Fenderboy771 Thats right. I read somewhere that Waters pulled it from the track listing because (at the time) he thought it was too personal. Not sure how much truth there is in that though.

@musicdork4ever There is documentary on the DVD. Roger Waters said his mother dressed him in shorts as shown but the park scene did not happen. Also, he said his grandfather, not mother as shown, took him to the Royal Fusilier Chapel. They looked up his father's name in one of the books. The chapel is at Saint Sepulchre's Church in London. My wife and i visited the chapel on 9-9-2011.

Pink Floyd is definetly one of my favorite bands now because my dad used to play The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon when I was younger. I'm only 16, but I most definetly appreciate music from before I was even born. And thanks for posting the movie on Youtube, I've been wanting to watch it. (:

drugs,sex, self-violence, and political facism. In the end, he accusses himself in front of an imaginary law court of having offered his feelings. teachers and his mother are the testifyers and the jury decides to brake down the wall for punishment. (My interpretation: He commits suicide.)

Since he cannot deal with this event, he builds an emotional wall around himself. No one shall recognize his weakness and yearning for a character symbolizing a father for him. So he tries to flee into different dream worlds which are manifested in rock music,
