the great thing about Disciple, is that their singer has so much emotion in his voice. Any ONE of their songs, are powerful enough to make somebody cry. They sing about stuff people can relate to, too! I love these guys, SO much!!! All you have to do is look around, and you will find proof of the bible. Hardly any historians deny the existence of Christ, but they do argue over his deity. Look at the bible for proof, and I don't mean look in the bible, but at the actual manuscripts.

The bible is in 4 languages that many historians are fluent in today. Another good example is creation. You look at evolution and it is full of holes. Even Darwin doubted it:

Believe it or not, but the scientific "big Bang theory" and gods 7 day creation, are actually the same.... you see scientifically at that point in time as the big bang happened, time was not a relitive facter meaning the 7 days could have theoretically been 7million years present time span..... and almost all early scientist actually converted to christianity, seeing as they were unable to explain unvirses creation.... you see even if the big bang experiment works there is no proof its the truth

I agree that this civilization is coming to an end. But I do have my own beliefs, and they do not lie in a biblical god, but they lie in a spiritual ascention. If you have lived this phase in life correctly, you will be allowed to ascend to the next level, if not, you will pay for your mistakes and suffer a next life that will force your soul to repair the mistakes you made.

Remember what you read these days is the New Testament, which was rewritten from languages that were long lost and undeciperable. I know it's cliche but you can't see the wind either, so how do you know it exists? The obvious answer is "I can feel the wind." God is no different; you can be sure He exists because we are capable of feeling Him. The thing is, I believe that in order to be able to feel God, YOU have to first take that leap of faith and ask Jesus into your heart. If you're always denying His existence, how will you recognize Him when He does show Himself? You can't feel the wind if you refuse to step outside.
Fear of death? I won't deny that a part of me IS still afraid of dying. But the more I grow in Faith, the more I realize that dying will simply lead me to a better place where I'll meet my savior. That doesn't mean I WANT to die-there's still plenty I want to do with my life-but it DOES make death less scary. But you're right. I can't force you to believe what I believe. This is something I chose. I just pray that if you ever find yourself feeling empty that you'll give God a chance. Peace.

How do you know? Have you died before? My beliefs are supported by what I've experienced firsthand; that is, I know there's a savior because I've felt Him. I've experienced a passion for life and peace and love that's literally out of this world. You can't disprove those experiences anymore than I can make you understand them. I'm a Christian because without God, without something more than this world, there is no purpose in life; no meaning in anything I do. And without that, what's the point?

In Atheism there is no absolute moral law. According to Atheism we are a species of animal and our morals are founded on evolutionary processes. There is NO logical reason and atheist should commit a completely selfless act.
Atheists claim existence ends at death, this means humans have no purpose or meaning. It is as if we never existed in the first place. In time the Sun will burn out and all human life will stop existing. In atheism everything we do is meaningless and human life has no ultimate value. Even if life is meaningless it would be meaningless for us to figure out life is meaningless. Exactly and God doesn't want anyone to die without knowing Him. He created each and every one of us with a plan for our lives just accept Him and He will pour blessings out into your life. It is never too late to come to God. He loves you in a way so deep and personal that it can't be explained.
It doesn't matter how you feel only that God promised that if you trust in him you will go to heaven. You still have a lot more time left than the thief on the cross who went to heaven, and he did nothing at all to earn it.
The thief did earn it. He truly accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior, even in his final last minutes of pain. That's what you need to do, accept Him. He loves you so much and desires a relationship with you.

The only way to earn salvation is to completely obey the commandments which the Bible clearly states is not possible for us because we are in a condition of sin. If I did anything for my own salvation then I would deserve glory, but I have no ability of my own for salvation.

True no one deserved what Christ gave us but he did give it to us. He loves each of us more than anyone could comprehend. He knows your heart, he knows your name. He knows how to comfort you in your time of need. He will always be there for you no matter what. When everyone else has abanndoned you he will not. I have learned that from expiernce. Do not loose faith and think that you are alone because you are not. He is carring you every step of the way.

i completly agree, in our daily life we are moved by beliefs, and god is one of them but we have the option to choose if u want to believe or if u want to doubt of it, i like alot of christians bands altought i lost my faith in God and religion.

Believe it or not, but the scientific "big Bang theory" and gods 7 day creation, are actually the same.... you see scientifically at that point in time as the big bang happened, time was not a relitive facter meaning the 7 days could have theoretically been 7million years present time span..... and almost all early scientist actually converted to christianity, seeing as they were unable to explain unvirses creation.... you see even if the big bang experiment works there is no proof its the truth

Although he has done it very harshly, Tehbeen does have a point. Religion is a means of control. It is a way to push a belief onto another person for no other reason than to have a following.
My main issue with religion is that none of them are proven to be accurate. But do not chastise those who do not believe as you do. They have a right to believe in anything, just as you do. Free will.

I agree that this civilization is coming to an end. But I do have my own beliefs, and they do not lie in a biblical god, but they lie in a spiritual ascention. If you have lived this phase in life correctly, you will be allowed to ascend to the next level, if not, you will pay for your mistakes and suffer a next life that will force your soul to repair the mistakes you made.
Truth is within your heart, it is your choice to follow what is right or wrong.

Purely because of logic. There is no entity that can create infinity. And what is God? To just snap his fingers and create the entire space which to me appears endless. Also, if this whole thing was created, what was it created inside? It just didnt appear out of nothing at all. Science and logic disprove the biblical God. I think humanity is arrogant in thinking God created us and us alone. There is a much bigger picture than just wee Earthlings, if anything we are on the bottom rung

God didn't snap the world into existence he spoke into existence.The beginning of the book of Genesis covers this.There have been many scientific studies that point to a Creator.The bible is full of historical facts.You are right in thinking there is a bigger picture than just us earthlings.The bible talks about a spiritual world with good angels, fallen angels, satan and demons.

No, in fact all of my beliefs are mine alone. I do not listen or learn from anyone but myself through life's lessons. I have more of an open mind than most in this world, that is why I do not feel there is a biblical god. I do not believe the words in the bible are anything more than a story that is being told. It has morals and laws, but otherwise just a story. My heart is what guides and teaches me. To me the truth in one's heart is more important than any God. Love is inside all of us

Actually, the lyrics go, "I'LL HAVE MY EYES ON YOU after the world is no more." Basically, the lyrics are meant to impress on us not a fear of death, but that God's love is so great that it lasts after we leave this mortal world--and will even last after the earth itself ceases to exist. It's a message that we can enjoy that same love for just as long: an eternity.

I know it's cliche but you can't see the wind either, so how do you know it exists? The obvious answer is "I can feel the wind." God is no different; you can be sure He exists because we are capable of feeling Him. The thing is, I believe that in order to be able to feel God, YOU have to first take that leap of faith and ask Jesus into your heart. If you're always denying His existence, how will you recognize Him when He does show Himself? You can't feel the wind if you refuse to step outside.

Fear of death? I won't deny that a part of me IS still afraid of dying. But the more I grow in Faith, the more I realize that dying will simply lead me to a better place where I'll meet my savior. That doesn't mean I WANT to die-there's still plenty I want to do with my life-but it DOES make death less scary. But you're right. I can't force you to believe what I believe. This is something I chose. I just pray that if you ever find yourself feeling empty that you'll give God a chance. Peace.

How do you know? Have you died before? My beliefs are supported by what I've experienced firsthand; that is, I know there's a savior because I've felt Him. I've experienced a passion for life and peace and love that's literally out of this world. You can't disprove those experiences anymore than I can make you understand them. I'm a Christian because without God, without something more than this world, there is no purpose in life; no meaning in anything I do. And without that, what's the point?

that was a really great explanation to a non believer. athiests are always wondering why us christians think God exists. its a feeling we have inside of us, the holy spirit surrounds us. you can feel God's love around you, he listens to you and after you pray to him i can promise you you will feel more at peace. this is a great song. That is a very poor argument to an Atheist because Muslins, Hindus, Mormons etc. all claim the same feeling. The evidence for Christianity is in science, cosmology, philosophy, archeology, history and Biblical prophecy. Atheism is philosophically flawed as a world view. In Atheism there is no absolute moral law. According to Atheism we are a species of animal and our morals are founded on evolutionary processes. There is NO logical reason and atheist should commit a completely selfless act.

Atheists claim existence ends at death, this means humans have no purpose or meaning. It is as if we never existed in the first place. In time the Sun will burn out and all human life will stop existing. In atheism everything we do is meaningless and human life has no ultimate value. Even if life is meaningless it would be meaningless for us to figure out life is meaningless. Exactly and God doesn't want anyone to die without knowing Him. He created each and every one of us with a plan for our lives just accept Him and He will pour blessings out into your life. It is never too late to come to God. He loves you in a way so deep and personal that it can't be explained.

It doesn't matter how you feel only that God promised that if you trust in him you will go to heaven. You still have a lot more time left than the thief on the cross who went to heaven, and he did nothing at all to earn it.

The thief did earn it. He truly accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior, even in his final last minutes of pain. That's what you need to do, accept Him. He loves you so much and desires a relationship with you.

No he didn't earn it. If anyone earns salvation then there was no Grace. Grace is completely free. The only way to earn salvation is to completely obey the commandments which the Bible clearly states is not possible for us because we are in a condition of sin. What must be done is not to accept Jesus, but simply to submit to Him. Glory belongs to the Lord for saving me. If I did anything for my own salvation then I would deserve glory, but I have no ability of my own for salvation.
