actually when u did the fist scan with mbam and detected 10 viruses, you didnt RESTART you pc.. that's why when you scan the folder with 3 viruses on it, and run mbam again.. it detects 9 which means mbam havent remove the 9 viruses left from the first scan coz u didnt restart your pc, but avast effectively blocked the malwares..
