So what if they use old riffs, so what if their stuff is recycled from old albums; coming up with something new that no one else has staked is tricky stuff. This is good music, even well received by critics, so just enjoy it will ya?

This is the first Cradle of Filth song I've heard. I like it. It doesn't sound exactly like anything else I've heard. The fact that these guys use both scream, growl, female clean vocals, and spoken word, as well as passages with high dissonance and heroic-sounding sections in major all in the same song makes me think that they're either very experienced or very inventive musicians. Either way I approve.
