  • EC FUCKING W!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like this if u miss ecw ecw

    extreme championship wrestling

  • Comment removed

  • EC FUCKING DOUBLE YOUUUUUUUU!!!!

  • ECW Is WWF

  • I don't understand why they attacked Jericho. lol Jericho was in ECW

  • RVD had the right idea -- GO FOR THE KIDNEY!!

  • i love JR's commentary

  • I marked out for this moment like crazy.

Then Stephanie was announced "owner" of ECW at the end of the same show and I returned to my cynical, smart-mark ways.

  • A three way war between WWF, WCW and ECW.

Oh how great it would have been. =(

  • it took 8 ECW wrestlers to beat 2 WWF stars ~ this is vince's way of showing that his wrestlers were always best

  • @1400deadwood Umm...not really, Look at the nWo in WCW. took like, 20 of them to beat down one guy, ECW, always 3-4 guys teaming up on one guy. and lets not forget....The Nexus what was it...like...7 of them, beating down two guys every week. Its called delivering a beating while looking like a legit threat.

  • @napalmman420 - and not surprisingly, nWo, WCW, ECW, neXus ~ all dead. Vince wins in the end.

  • @1400deadwood umm no stupid, it's a way of showing ECW was in on the inVasion angle, and it was an assault, not "vince's way of showing that his wrestlers were always the best" lol i swear u marks take everything out of proportion

  • @steiner8burgerston - that wasn't my point stupid. Vince always had a way of having his wrestlers attacked by gangs of wrestlers, only to be beaten one on one in the ring in a match. This was his way of showing WWE brand was better than the others. Over the years this was something commented on by wrestling critics. If you don't agree, fine. But don't call me a mark or anything else. Ok? Let's keep it kosher.

  • im affraid to say there is a few things missing from this video...... the sound of smashing glass. a few stone cold stunners and last but not least.... a LARGE case of steveweisers............OH HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WWF=World Wildlife Fund is bad.

They cooperate with companies, which destroy rain forest.

I do not want extreme weather.

Bring back the World Wrestling Federation.

  • @Democracy1000 what would a letter do? magically have kane undertaker,DX,rock ,Austin appear out of magic, 10 years younger and reenact what they did years ago?

  • Now ECW is TNA because all wrestlers of ECW are in TNA, it is fucken sad.

  • @totallykyle111 I agree! Which is Y I still understand The InVasion, and The InVasion Winner Takes All

  • 5:03 "somebody tell me what this means in sports entertainment?"

    MEANS NOTHING

  • Jericho was in both ECW & WCW before WWF, surprised he didn't join the Alliance he had moderate success in both and at this point in the WWF was pretty much still a mid-carder, wasn't a main event-er until after the invasion

  • crowd are dead

  • @smoothcriminal19941

It's a shame, because it was a really awesome segment. I hate when the crowd is so quiet.

  • @SuperMac2007 Ye its a real shame, even on todays raw and smackdowns atmosphere is very poor

  • hmmm these comments still amaze me lol...wwe isnt dead i saw em live last week lol...looked pretty damn awesome actually

  • Every1 in that ring has left the wwe besides kane wooow now the wwe dead

  • @SiiMPLYNOTORiiOUS yea cuz that was 10 years ago... tell urself how many people u saw in the ring that were in wwe in 1991?

  • @SiiMPLYNOTORiiOUS why did u send me a msg instead of replying back?

  • God I miss ECW. I mean the real one. Not Vince's bastardized insult version.

  • Comment removed

  • I remember this, still makes me choke. HEYMAN IS GOD!!!!!!!

  • 1 of the best moments of all time

  • Kane nows the time to go lights out and chokeslam rampage

  • I was hoping for the original cross promotion from the 90's.

  • CM Punk could've fit into any one of them...

But he was busy on the indy circuit, speaking into phantom mics and being the best of the best.

  • lol it was just jericho and kane

  • so all you fans of stone cold should go back in time and watch a true extreme beer drinking maniac enter the arena with matallica playing in the background simply the best intrance i have ever seen and a greater performance risking his life to make you want to come back and see what crazy stunt they pull off as the finishing move

  • all i know is stone cold steve austin had the same attitude and style the sandman had in ecw a foul language using beer drinking maniac. it seemed to me that the sandmans original persona from ecw was ripped off by wwe and they incoporated a twin of sandman and made stone cold steve austin what he was

  • if any WWF/E marks are watching this I want you to know that you are to blame for the death of ECW because it was your money and your support that allowed Vince Mcmahon to buy that company

  • WWF - World Wrestling Federation

WWE - World Wrestling Entercraptanment (enter ' crap' tan ' ment')

Get it? or Not Get the E Out and bring the Fuck F

  • @Romeydaking119 if the attitude era does ever come back its still gonna be wwe

  • Dont you wish companys could invade today

  • Too bad this turned out to be the only good part of the storyline.

  • WWE= ratings

    TNA= roster

    WWF

    WCW

    ECW= memories

  • @nwojunkie

    yes

  • Paul Heyman = Best Entrance Music In My Opinion !!

  • @chrissy10474

    Eric Bischof is better (raw)

    xD

  • fuck this kiddie shows

  • such a great moment..only to fall to crap a week later

  • Wasn't Jericho an original ECW?

  • Too bad Chris Jericho did not team up with ECW :/

  • ECW ECW ECW ECW ECW ECW ECW ECW ........EC FUCKING W

  • I fucking love how over half the crowd joins in on the ECW chant, fuck you Vince, everyone loved EC'fn W

  • PG cock sucking cunt fans..this is how good the wwe was...

  • i still dont understand why jericho didnt join ECW he was an ECW orignal

  • @evilcanuck

He wasn't in the Alliance (ECW or WCW..which is where he became famous) because he was a big draw in the WWF and McMahon wanted to embarrass the competition. It's why basically no ECW or WCW wrestlers ever got pushed, won matches on their own, and found a spot in the WWF. A select few did, that's it, if only for a short while. Wrestling is filled with ego's.

  • all of those ECW guys probaly never thought they would all be in TNA huh

  • @LegoDeadpool Probably? There was still about one more year from then before TNA even existed.

  • Tell ya what, I'm no fan of Paul, but to get noticed and bought by Vince was quite a feat. He may have gotten bought out, but those guys got some decent paychecks for a while, now a good chunck of them are resting easy at TNA

  • anybody got the the match at the end of the night when the alliance formed

  • I wish they had never had Stephanie as the "owner" and just let ECW pwn everybody.

  • i hope ecw returns and not as a brand of wwe..

  • @12chirpy24 I wish that was possibly, but WWE actually bought the rights to ECW, and it would be illegal to restart the company outside of the WWE. Paul Heyman could start a wrestling promotion like ECW, but without the name, it wont get as much recognition and I'm sure he knows that which is why he hasn't tried it.

  • they loused this angle up real fast

  • Great moment.

  • revenge agaisnt lawer

  • This was great.

  • Vince botched this angle so bad. The WCW part of the invasion was doomed to begin with because WCW was lacking their most popular wrestlers such as Goldberg, the nWo, Bischoff, Flair, and Steiner. All of those guys came after the Invasion Angle. The only main event talent WCW had on its side were Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page. The ECW part of the Invasion had potential and could have worked but Vince ruined it by combing ECW and WCW.

  • @nwojunkie

    Yes.

  • These were the good old days. Wish to relive this one more time, and watch it at that same moment of happening with having no knowledge of knowing whats gonna happen next.

  • If only Paul Heyman had Vince's money......or better yet Turner's money......awwww would could have been!!!!!!

  • ecw ecw ecw ecw

  • And they ruined it about an hour later by forcing Heyman into an alliance with Stephanie McMahon. Oh, what might have been had Vince checked his ego at the door.

  • Why the hell do you say "last time WWF/WWE." WWF and WWE are completely different. Less than a year after the switch, i quit watching. WWE is for children

  • raven stays down the road from me :)...how obvious was that shit.only guys that came to the rescue were all ecw guys..

  • ...and then they ruined it by making Stephanie the head of ECW.

  • @DrClaw77 Exactly!

  • "Dude, you got knocked the Fuck Out!"

  • only stone cold can clean the fuck out of the ring

  • Heyman is definitely Hall of Fame worthy.

  • Oh my god, Paul Heyman should be in the WWE Hall of Fame! He gets you so pumped up. This was ten years ago and and I'm still excited. The whole wcw/ecw invasion were the best of times in my opinion.

  • This was much better than the nexus attacks lol

  • @totallykyle111 The Nexus was actually one of the most shocking angles in Wrestling history, it only failed cause WWE fucked it up like they fucked up the ECW invasion

  • @djbluetoothmixes Gotta agree with you.

Naturally, Cena was the one that they sent in to screw the whole thing up.

It was a brilliant story til the point that he got fired but never left; that's when it started being typical Super Cena and became boring.

  • @TheOriginalTaterbug It was good right until they started apologizing every week. Even the Corre is better now than Nexus ever was and the Corre sucks too. However, despite the failure, I did like JBL's cabinet just because of the amazing promos he use to cut each week on Smackdown...best HEEL WWE ever wasted

  • Comment removed

  • @djbluetoothmixes I'll agree there, too.

They should've just let them stay on their mean streak.

I loved how much agression they were bringing.

And The Cabinet was pretty cool.

  • @TheOriginalTaterbug Didn't the Cabinet last longer than Nexus?

  • @djbluetoothmixes I'd say so, cause JBL was WWE Champion for around a year, and they were there pretty much the whole time.

My memory is a little fuzzy on it, but it seems like they were around for at least a year.

  • @TheOriginalTaterbug Yes back when Wrestling was not as bad as it is now (still terribly bad back then either way)...Honestly the best years of wrestling (1998-2001), then the interesting/ok years (2001-2004/5) right up to when Cena left for Raw)..after that everything FAIL..Worst year in wrestling (other than 1994...2011)

  • @djbluetoothmixes I think it was still good when Cena came to RAW, but by the next Wrestlemania, it was horrible.

2011 has been a slightly decent year.

I'm gonna say 2006-2009 were the worst because it was absolutely the era of Super Cena.

We're still in that era, but it's not as bad as it was, which will change if he wins the WWE Championship.

God have mercy on us all if we have to witness another Cena title run.

  • @TheOriginalTaterbug You are right but I would have to say this year is the worse so far...yea sure 2006-2010 was Cena's big break that ruined everything but when compared to WWE & TNA's quality of programming...this year is by far the worse. 9 mins of matches per 2 hour show and Eric Bischoff and Hogan pretty much destroyed TNA, from 2006-2010 Smackdown and TNA was worth watching, now in 2011 no show is worth watching, not even Smackdown

  • @djbluetoothmixes Touche.

    You have me there.

And I definately agree that matches have become WAY too short.

I noticed that a long time ago.

  • @djbluetoothmixes The best years of wrestling were when the "magic" still existed. The late 80s-early 90s with plenty of gimmicks and kids still not sure whether wrestling was real or not.

Nowadays the fans have to pretend the nice choreography and fake punches are part of angles that are usually scraping the bottom of the barrel. The fact that titles only (generally) change hands at PPVs makes the whole show a mockery.

No problem though, lets add divas and bring ratings in..

  • or the corre

  • @totallykyle111 of course! nxt were rookies, ecw wrestlers had squared balls

  • @totallykyle111 not really the first won was good from nexus

  • who noticed they guys who came out were ecw stars?

  • @totallykyle111 I agree at least they had a reason

  • This was when WWF tried to mimic the success of the NWO vs WCW era. Too bad this fell a bit flat. The beginning of the end of wrestling I think.

  • pobre kane

  • This was such a highlight and damn it to hell they f!!ked it up good later that night. Having Stephanie as the new owner. Talk about killing an angle quick!

  • @HGeneAnthony You know where I can find that video? I'm trying to learn everything I can bout the invasion.

  • If you miss ECW Check out Elite Xtreme Wrestling!

  • Look at it this way. Atleast Vince McMahon did'nt come out and say "Paul, stop, I invited them!"

  • man do i miss GOOD OL JR.

  • this is one of the best wwf moments other than hogan joining nwo

  • @disturbedengage26 Hogan joining the NWO was a "WWF" moment? Hmm...wrong.

  • @ChamberOfReflections my bad ,wcw

  • I'm surprised Mike Awesome was there. Didn't everyone else in ECW hate his guts?

  • Vince should buy TNA and make another storyline like this he can make so much good matches of WWE vs TNA Superstars

  • I remember recording this on video. It had me hooked on WWF so much

  • JR: 6 WWF Superstars have defected to ECW

2 WWF Superstars have defected to ECW. ???

  • Yup, Tna tried ripping this off. We saw how well that worked

  • It was a terrible idea to make the whole of ECW heel and then ally them with WCW, when Bischoff really did want to run ECW out of busines

  • This story only worked because they had damn good writers like Vince McMahon himself,Vince Russo,Paul Heyman and shit loads of others

  • Paul and Eric are great prmoters/GMs, look at the promoters/GMs/Managers nowdays in WWE....

  • Mike Awesome was the fuckin man i wish he power bombed Vince over the top ropes through the table!!

  • EC-DUB EC-DUB EC-DUB

  • This, next to the ECW, and nWo era, was the best time to be a wrestling fan.

This storyline was so epic. Wrestling nowadays will never live up to the excitement this story brought.

Fans who never witnessed this missed out.

  • lmao did you hear J.R at 3.24-3.26 sounds 'oh my god my cock' lol

  • Paul Heyman is THE SHIT!!

  • this was awesome, its funny how they combined ecw and wcw seeing as how vince helped fund ecw, in a small way, and ecw was built to spit in the face of wcw and NWA. this angle could have possibly erased even the thought of a pg era. professional wrestling needs paul heyman

  • Think about it...this could have made the NWO angle look silly in comparision if they'd done it right.

  • and it was great to see mike awesome rip and justin creadible with storm again priceless

  • yeah this was the last good story they had and could have done alot with it again if they only gone in the right direction

  • ARE YOU KIDDING ME, DOUDLY BOYZ ARE FUCKING HARDY

  • I remember watching this and at 0:43 I jumped up and yelled out ECW ECW! It woke up my wife and she looked up and said "holy shit". I will never forget this moment. Still bleeding ECW purple after all these years.

  • that doesnt even look like raven

  • WHAT THE HELL?

  • its was retarded when they just combined ecw and wcw and made one big alliance

  • The last time WWF/WWE was worth a damn!!!

  • @DannyBoy8686 they still had strength during the ruthless aggression era

  • When they turned around, I remember as a kid going, "Dad look! O shit!!!!"

  • as if the guys in the back would not come help

  • some of the best guys came from that no named company... Guerrero, Dudleys, Storm , Tazz. God I miss that show

  • Lol. "Where's security?" As if these guys need security.

  • it sounded like it was suppose to be ECW VS WCW vs WWF

  • y2j is an original 2

  • @bruceky13 UFC

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeet ECW ECW ECW

  • @chester5566 * U give me John Cena, I give u Stone Cold

    * U give me The Miz, I give u The Rock

    * U give me an Undertaker who will piledrive someone for revenge, I give u an Undertaker who will abduct your daughter & crucify her for revenge

    * U give me a group of rebels who force their enemies to join & make them wear an armband, I give u a group of rebels who beat every enemy down anytime, anywhere & take over the whole company

ATTITUDE ERA FANS: Thumbs up if you agree & add your own ideas!

  • @JayKingz1 you are totally right, but no matter what theres always gonna be new wrstlers and new eras which i wish wouldn't but there is. orton and cena and taker and hhh and hbk there all good people but this era of wwe fucking sucks change it vince!

  • here comes the W-C-....wWF GUYS ARE HERE!

  • Who's the guy at 5:00?

  • @imlaughing2death Mike Awesome

  • @imlaughing2death Mike Awesome

  • @imlaughing2death Thats Mike Awesome R.I.P.

  • And if Vince had been intelligent, he would have made this a 3 way battle for brand superiority. But alas, Vince is semi-retarded, power-drunk, and one of the greediest people in the world.

  • Good ole JR at 4:50 "6 WWF superstars have defected to ECW, 2 WWF stars have defected to ECW"

So 8 WWF wrestlers defected to ECW and none from WCW? lol

  • LOL TNA tried to copy this a few months ago

  • @Fondrom yea and itt didnt feel like a ECW Vibe when TNA Tried to do this

  • @Punj4biUK Yeah they are. It's pathetic at this point.

  • Call JR a pig again and I will rip your face off

  • FEEL IT! FEEL IT!

  • haha jericho gets swarmed from the start, at least kane knocked down 3 before they all got to him

  • Too bad Jericho didn't turn at the same time

  • whats the creepy background noise ???

  • one of the greatest moments ever in pro wrestling, origional ECW rules

  • ECW for mother fucking ever!!

  • This has got to be my favorite storyline. Because at the time people were still buzzing about the final Nitro, and Shane McMahon, and then we add ECW to the mix. Three companies who were awesome at one point. If TNA were to ever attempt to "invade" WWE, it would probably fail miserably.

  • TNA doesn't need to water down their wrestling product to pander to 10 year olds and their parents.Their roster can put up more 5 star matches in a week than WWE can in an year

  • @warmaker911 Your opinion. I personally can't stand TNA's product. While the matches may be good, the overall storylines, and feuds are bland and boring. I also take into consideration the fact that they've had so so so many of WWE's leftovers, and haven't gotten any better, and when they moved to Monday nights, they failed miserably. Hulk, Eric Bischoff, and The Band were supposed to be TNA's "saviors". Hell, Morley quit and opted to go to Japan and wrestle.

  • @warmaker911 You're right, TNA's roster is fully capable of producing 5 star matches. But thru shitty booking and sheer stupidity, TNA won't allow guys like Samoa Joe, A.J Styles, the Motor City Machines, RVD, and others to put on those kinds of incredible matches . btw, Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker from this year's WrestleMania was one the greatest 5-star matches in the history of professional wrestling. I have yet to see TNA produce a match that can even come close to that.

  • @CyborgNinja86 you got a point, they need a GOOD ultimate x match instead of a crappy one

  • @warmaker911 Actually thats highly incorrect since just as WWE have a PG rating still produce better promos and matches than TNA, They even get higher views and ratings.

  • @Iforlyfe Yeah, it's pretty much safe to say that TNA couldn't wash WWE's jockstrap.

  • @20DeeJayEl Yeah its crazy, its like if they go to war, then i hope they know who they'll be messing with..because Vince McMahonis a crazy ass genius. Its just like how he said to Ric Flair when he was the stock owner of WWE and was partners with Vince, he had no choice to but to inject his company with poison aka the NWO, and through it all, its just like he said would be the same if he battles TNA..."i'll be the last one to survive"

  • @Iforlyfe Exactly, man. Only Vince would do that. Dixie and Jeff Jarrett aren't capable of doing something like that. I mean, they could try, but it wouldn't work. I mean, The Band, who were essentially the core NWO members got to TNA, and fucked up bad. Scott Hall and X-Pac weren't even there that long. Like I said before, TNA may have good matches, but shitty storylines.

  • @20DeeJayEl thats sad thing about it cause they had good talent but i think they started screwing up after they changed the ring, brought in dixie, eric, hogan, and dont get me started with flair, this man retired and now i see him here, and see him cocky as hell like if hes doing roids or something, cause what also is tiring is that Fortune crap, its alil too similar to NWO. Its like the storylines are so whack and replaying itself, but then again its cause they have vince russo
