in the article they discuss how they maid a point to use mostly ink and water. Mainly only the figure at the end is real flow. even the text is just ink being washed off ink jet print outs with time remapping.
yeah, i did that yesterday. i tryed to post the link here, but it didn´t work. it´s really amazing! my mistake. we are so used to CG nowadays, it´s hard to believe someone would do that in a classical way...
Im guessing they had a huge ink drop library to combine and position them to make the human form at the end with tons of time remaps. thats what i wud try, but how did they actualy do it? but i have no clue how they warp the ink into the letters. any idea?

Its after effects and real flow, i looked it up. they wanted to only use real in and aftereffects but in the end they used real flow as well.

sorry, but there´s no way you can do that with after fx. maybe a little touches, composition, etc. but it´s mostly real flow.
