Thomas L. Thomas is arguably the most underrated singer of them all. I do wish more of his recordings were available as he was a most sensitive singer with a lovely, burnished tone. His LPs of Scottish and Welsh songs are irreplaceable. Please, Tauberfan, if you have other recordings by Thomas that are not readily available, you would be doing a great service if you could upload them here. In any case, you are doing a wonderful job as it is. Please keep it up! Five stars, of course.
Perfect vocal placement. Wonderful timbre. This is the Art of Singing which
is no longer heard on the professional stage.

Thanks for this. What a fine singer, deserves to be much better known. I love his Welsh songs, too- my parents had the record.

Lovely rendition!
BTW, around 4:00 the picture shows: Martini 1741-1861. I think you meant 1816. (As far as I know, nobody has made it to 120 years. :)
