She walked in on Fontaine recording a diary and realized what Atlas was, so his supporters killed her. That dead body on that desk is most likely her.

hey bro mactiddy just wanna say that u can actually go back once u go to point prom. you can go anywhere even when u have the big daddy suit on it doesnt matter i know because i freaked out because i forgto a PttP and thought i could not go back and found out that i could so just let'n u know that i think u made a little mistake there but non the less awesome walkthrough, kudos

I like how the game psychologically preps you to fight Fontaine while the real fight consists of some electogel and a maxed out wrench.

After point prometheus and even after finishing "Proving Grounds" until the final elevator, you can go back to all the areas via bathyspheres.

You're not limited once you get to point prometheus, just a minor correction.

After you turn into a big daddy but before you hit the vent with your wrench you can go back to previous areas and the splicers and everything will leave you alone as if you were a real one.
