  • Wow! excellent an beautiful recipe! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Wow, I made this today as a surprise for hubby, I got a prayer in return (he's a man of God)! Stumbled on your videos while googling for Pepper Soup recipe. It was great & easy, I just wish it was spicy, but thanks a lot and God bless you! Your videos will really help the young generations!

  • @Tolani28 Oh what a nice surprise! I'm sure you got more than A prayer :) I love to know how people find my videos so thanks for the info :) For the Pepper soup, and infact all these meals, you can add as much pepper as you want. We don't eat a lot of pepper in my family so you won't see me adding loads in my food. lol God bless you too dear and yes, I hope these videos will help somebody learn how to cook these meals or at least show them a different way :)

  • this recipe rocks,i wonder how you make chicken suya

  • where did you get the suya sticks from? What can I use as a replacement? Oh btw, I love your videos

  • @fLoRiDchIQ I bought them from a Chinese shop.

  • YES I CAN SMELL IT!!!! You are evil. lol

  • @hyacinthdibley :DDD

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    OH EM GEEEEEEE. SUUUUUYAAAAAAAA

    WHEW. I'm so sad now.

  • @hyacinthdibley But you should be able to buy Suya spice in the States? Please this video is supposed to make you happy not sad. 'Cos now, you can make Suya in your home :DDD So cheer up dear. :)

  • @NigerianFoodRecipes LOL. Thanks so much. I do feel better knowing the recipe and instructions now. IT would have been a lot worse if you just showed us some juicy suya but no means of getting it cooked correctly.

    Thanks again.

  • @hyacinthdibley That's it dear! My hope is that I will help those who live far away from home cook these Naija meals in their own home. I live far away from home too and I love Naija food so much, I know there are millions other people in my shoes that's why I share all I eat that helps make being far away from home more bearable. Still trying to get the mallams to give me the perfect recipe for the suya spice so that those that can't buy it where they live can enjoy the Suya with us. LOL

  • does the real suya spice they use in Nigeria have Groundnut in them? i have been tryin to find out

  • @Chichidelyte1 yes groundnut is the base ingredient in suya spice.

  • What type of Beef did u use?

  • @Chichidelyte1 type? I use the any part of beef that is soft, has a lot of the red meat and has as little fat as possible. Tenderloin sirloin, all those parts that are used for steak.

  • so kool :)

  • I love suya!

  • Suya powder can also be made at home. Its not so complicated but you need to use the nigeria groundnut.

Also my comment out this video is that the meat is sliced too thin. After you bbq the suya sticks, it becomes dry and not so juicy.

Who uses an oven to make suya??? LOL But anyhow thanks for the video will try out your style one of these days.

  • @slimshaidi LOL longer throat, instead of you to beg me for Suya, you dey yarn opata. I no go give eeee! LOL Meanwhile why do you want to make your own Suya? You are in Naija so pls go to your nearest suya spot and buy correct Suya from the experts; abi you no wan make Mai Suyas sell market? :DDD This video is for those who are outside Naija oh! And abeg bros abi sis, find way to send me one trailer of suya spice, my own don finish :DD

  • @NigerianFoodRecipes hahahahaha sista i be Bros. Never knew say u fet use oven to cook suya. I hail you well for this video. It would help alot of ppl who are outside nigeria. Oya expect 2 containers of suya but make sure them no go think say i de send Igbooo hahahaha... Well done with the videos. I shall keep an eye on your channel. Bye bye ooo

  • You have many talents. My mum brought some suya pepper from Nigeria back in 2009 and I didn't know what to do with it until I saw this video. Now you got me grilling soon. love the video. Thanks again :) Now... I have to do math on finding lean meat.

  • @cajibade OMG ... you should have sent that bag of Suya Spice to my house tee tee :DD Glad to learn that finally, they will be sent to their rightful home (in your stomach) lol. I'm sure that filletes of beef will not be hard to find in the US. Go grill that Suya dear!

  • @MsButtercup360 Thanks for your encouraging words dear. I'm happy that you find the videos helpful. I'm in Spain. I will make a video for egg rolls dear but if you need to make them right now, watch my Puff Puff video and mix your egg roll batter the same way (but a bit thicker). To fry, put hard boiled eggs into the batter and scoop into hot oil with a spoon. Make sure that the egg is coated very well with the batter and you'll have egg rolls :)

  • @NigerianFoodRecipes Ok, thanks very much but I'll just wait 4U 2do it at Ur own time cos I'm in no hurry *hugs*

  • @solzica82 Oh that's so exciting and I wish I'm in your house this weekend! lol! Yes with the big chunks of meat you'll not get the real feeling of eating Suya. And you really need to pack on those suya spices! One bag that my sister sent me finished in one go :DD Thanks for your nice words about the videos :)

  • Lol @ ds mail suya work no easy o. Thanks for d recipe

  • @iwillsting It's really not easy dear. Now I know what the Mai Suyas in Nigeria go through dabbing stick after stick of Suya in the Suya spice all day long :DDD

  • what is the suya spice made of?

  • @Damyfaith Suya Spice is a blend of peanuts, assorted peppers etc ... full list in the description.

  • Where can I find the suya spice?

  • @chikaobi14 I mentioned where you can find the Suya spice in the video: in Nigeria or major African shops in major cities (outside Nigeria) where there are lots of Africans.

  • the suya spice is not available here either.. ..I wonder what the mixture is..A friend said groundnut, pepper and .....she doesnt know the rest..lol

  • @mardorada And I was going to ask you if they sell it down your end! The Mai Suya gave my sis a list of everything they have in it (full list in the description) but he was not clear about the exact quantities. It is usually top secret and every Mai Suya has his own proportions of these ingredients :)

  • @NigerianFoodRecipes I just read the description,I was busy swallowing saliva as the suya came out of the oven...lol..I trust you to get the right proportion soon...well done jare

  • @mardorada lol @ swallowing saliva. Now, I often go and watch that part to relive the memories of that suya since I finished my one bag of suya spice in one go ... :DDDD I am trying with the right proportions o. My sis said all the mai suyas ran away during the subsidy fracas so we are waiting for them to come back so we can ask them again :)
