This stupid thing is the first thing that pops up when you type my username just because of the description. They r getting free advertisement and I would like to charge you $15 an hour
This makes me sad. The most common problem with saving / spending money in america is that we take advise from people who are bad with money. So now we read user comments, trust them, but have no idea who that person really is, and even more so has no vested interest in us. So you buy based on what someone said, who doesn't look at what you already have and say, "your tv is less than a year old, you won't notice much difference" instead we say, "you gotta get this!' then we wonder why we broke.
@bluefootedpig Im still using a computer from 08 and it still runs fine. I think another problem is that there rushing for perfection and big companies want to release new every year instead of slowing down. They take advantage of our personal goal of being hip, while I am contempt with having a reliable computer without unnecessary bell and whistles, and with extra cash in my wallet to buy a new game for my '08 Xbox 360, which works equally well :3
What's the source of all these nhumbers - are they valid. "93% of American online before they purchase?" Er..could explain this more, it'#s a bit hard to understand on its own. It's OK as "a bunch of stats set to music" but you could do so much more with this!!
It's called undercover advertising, it's been done since people (who are very good at socializing) were paid in the 50s to go to college and drink colas all day saying how great they are to people they met
Soon, kids in high school saw their older college bound siblings liking cola and tried it themselves, and so on and so forth
very interesting, but would like to know exactly how the info was gathered.
in any case, it would be good if all the big businesses and advertising moguls watched this...maybe they'd put more time and money into better products and listening to user feedback, rather billion dollar bs ad campaigns.
93% of Americans research online. Maybe, if you count when someone like me does research on behalf of people like my entire family because I'm the only one that isn't afraid of the internet
If high performing businesses use online consumer insight with sales & merchandising, they should also use it in design & development where it counts. I'm all over online automotive forum sites, I see tons of peoples opinions on stuff and when pretty much everyone hates something, it's clear their research and development homework was left unfinished. This applies to foreign automakers as well. As much as I'd like to think every manufacturer paid attention, it's clear they do not.
You might want to use inretailpark.
It is extremely useful for Retail Buyers & Retail Suppliers considering they charge just $2.00 per month for listings and messages.

Yes, yes, it's all a marketing scam
It's called undercover advertising, it's been done since people (who are very good at socializing) were paid in the 50s to go to college and drink colas all day saying how great they are to people they met

i think it would be great if all the online reviewers start saying they want their products to be more "green". who is with me?
ljamin 2 years ago
@ljamin
"green" is now a way to market to those who think something colored or with the words "Green" on it is good for the earth.
