I hear you. All the good blacks get ignored & hated & left to rot while the bad blacks get everything by stealing, threatening & destroying things & trying to put fear in others. Then when they get in that kind of relationship & see how evil they really are, they still stay or after a certain point can't get out even if they want. They need to stand up against that.
You know, I must say that I agree with you here, saying that noone would want a white women who had been with a black man is very ignet and stupid to say.
I blame the current hip hop world, media, and the "sheep" who emulate what is the societal norm for black people. The expectations are so low for blacks, but marginal marketing scheme in which the vices and ridiculous images of black people are unfortunately lucrative create a general perspective of black people that "white america" and other cultures look at as different. It's their first impression of blacks in mainstream, and that's what they fall in love with. Being a "thug" is benefiical.
And then when the relationship doesn't work out and they are stuck with children of the "slave", those particular delusion women wonder why the relationship didn't work. If a woman would consider a black man with intellect an "oreo" the question I would ask is, "If I act white, how do a black man suppose to act, like Plies or something?" It further proves what they want out of a black man....fun, go through some sort of challenge, transform them into their image, and then settle down..
@KizaSoze25 Plies is about right. Now does the person who plays Plies really act like that, or is Plies just a character he created for entertainment? Probably the latter. But people don't see that. Or should I say, thug lovers don't seperate the stage from survival.
@openfist247 There are lots of studio gangstas out here, but because the thug image is so beneficial in a variety of ways, there are a lot of "macaroni" individuals out here as well as authentic thugs. As a result there are creating the ideal hybrid brother that women go for: a thug who goes Harvard, and in reality they're just an imposter. It's hard for a wannabe when everybody is wearing red to wear blue, figuratively speaking.
@openfist247 Now you're getting into the business side of Hip Hop. You never know a person's true identity in this world. Consequently, credible people in Hip Hop affects the society that follows them. Lil Bow Wow is an example of a person who grew up right before our eyes, and now he's a tough guy. The reason for this thug image is because really it's part of modern day Hip Hop, and it's lucrative to the marketing machine.
I think a woman with a mindset like that goes for men like that because of the challenge it brings. They want a thug that goes to Harvard. They like the "swag"(bury that word), the security, and in most cases how a slave minded individual "lay is law" down in the bedroom. I also think some women want to ultimately "change' the man into the woman's desired image, but fail to realize if a thug's mom can't change them, what makes them think they could? Delusional earthlings....
