First, it is a real surprise how much a puppies' mother looks like our Welshie "Anny". Second, your Prudence is soooo cute.('_')V I understand Pru has a phisical problem. Please be happy with her, anything happens. Our Anny is suspected to have an epilepsy. Her brother has it. Yet, she is still alright now.

We've had our heart set on a beagle puppy since we decided to get a dog but now we're considering a welsh springer spaniel since apparantly they're great with children and other pets (we have 4 kids and 2 cats!).

Would you recommend them as a family pet?

Well I'm a bit biased, but of course I'd recommend Welsh Springer Spaniels - they are full of fun, have great senses of humour and love everyone they come into contact with. They also like a lot of exercise and need a lot of mental stimulation because they are so clever.
