  • Nothing to do with god. "The Love and Power of God reigns." - so why the coma in the first place? Was it reigning on her then?

  • The Love and Power of God reigns. I am so happy the children got their mom back. You have to believe to receive so don't trip if you're a non believer. You'll never get what you could have if you never believe. GOD is and always wil reign forever. END OF STORY!!!!!

  • Plz help me....my bf is in a coma

  • She was programming for 20 minutes?

  • Lord I know it was you with this lady.to the unsaved Jesus Christ is knocking at your door will you let him in.

  • Praise God:)Wonderful***!!!

  • GOD BLESS

  • man...what gullible religion freaks lol have you heard rejuvenation or how we can say...regeneration?! lol miracles are false hopes and don't realize what was the cause from this overwhelming obstacle to come over. lol sure, im happy for the person to get up from the chair, maybe it's from her fighting spirit or should i say CELLS regain her strength to gaze upon what her life would be without her happiness with children(i would kind of agree with help of children), but God? pppfffttt!!!

  • I believe in miracles.

  • Miracles do happen with the Power of Prayer that was very moving and I hope for the best God Speed to the family

  • The power of Jesus and love

  • Wow that's a true story of hope

  • THIS MADE ME CRY :0

  • that was god.

  • Those children are her life savers!!! All children are!!!

  • @XPsychoBurgundyX so you believe in luck but not that God could have done it???????? you try to use all these words to support your "luck" theory LOL wow well who controls the luck in this universe i wonder?????

  • Listen believe what you what that is a GOD BLESSED MIRACLE

  • oh my god

  • Talk about a miracle.

  • @haleyproductions1 talk about a team of doctors

  • i cried.

  • It is not the power of prayer...I think you she was gifted with an amazing brain!

  • It IS the power of prayer. Who knows why some don't live, but all I can tell you is from my experience it certainly is true. I was mugged years ago in my parking lot and left for dead. I was in a coma for a long time but fortunately I had family and people I didn't even know praying for me. The doctors didn't know if I would live, and certainly didn't think I would make a full recovery.

I walked out of the hospital a week later. Prayer works.

  • Jesus said it's not your time .

  • power of prayer...my ass...its the power of what ever her body wanted to happen...

  • AMEN! GLORY TO GOD!

  • DAAAAAAMN, It wasn't her time to go......

  • This is very touching.

  • This is so nice. It makes me glad that miracles still happen. The medic people are great there.

  • Arrg...they always give credits to GOD!? What about the medical team!? Didnt they work hard enough to save your ass , women!?

  • @PirateKing1256 fuck the medical team they didnt do shit but just kept her there on life support its the power of love and god

  • @poprocks1396 NO! It's the power of Love and Children. Not God.

  • This Is Heartwarming and also do not say that, this is a miracle from god.

  • Wow people! God is real, blessed be those who believe and need not have proof ,remember! Power of prayer is amazing, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Get over it and continue to love God.

  • How awesome. What a great story! God does do miracles even when we are angry, skeptical, disgusted or whatever. Trust me, I know, I go through hell sometimes with my autistic son and wonder where the heck is God in all this, but He is there...as is so aptly demonstrated in this remarkable story. Thanks CNN. This was inspirational.

  • I love how you say that people who believe in god "only see what they want to see". Don't you see, you do the same. I was once skeptical of God too until I had a similar situation happen to me. I had a siezure due to eclampsia, had an emergency c-section, and slipped into a coma for 4 days only to wake up in heart failure. I then had an expierence that I can only say was miraclous. Believe what you want. That is fine but don't tell people there wrong, because you might be wrong too.

  • like americans

  • So if recovering is a miracle and a therefore a proof of god, how would you call the fact that she got sick in the first place?

And what do the parents of a dying child are supposed to conclude if they can't save him by praying?

I'm happy this woman could get saved, anyway, but don't let all this amazingly good emotions let you think there is some kind of evidence in it. You can actually use both your heart and brains at the same time.

Big up for the woman and her family and doctors anyway.

  • Nicely said. People see only what they want to see about the world and then fit their pre-established belief in God around those things. The reality is that innocent people and children die in horrific ways all of the time. Where is this God for them?

  • @ludopower666 i would call the fact that she got sick in the first place a proof of God too. God does not only do miracles to people who needs it. He gives trials to people so they will learn from it. you'll never know but maybe because of her getting sick, it made her love her family more than ever and viceversa.

PS. you can believe whatever you want to believe in. no one is stopping you. i just wanted to answer your question.

  • @princessktrina

It seems you are trying to rationalize a cancer into a way to explain the existence of a god. But how would you explain the inevitable death of a very sick child, for example? What kind of "trial" is this supposed to be? And I'm asking you about the CHILD's point of view?

What lesson are those kids supposed to learn from, once in their coffin? Is this also a way to make this child be loved even more by his/her family?

How you would rationalize that? I just wanted to ask...

  • that is amazeing. and prayer is a powerfull thing. never take it lighly. sometimes God brings people back because he knows that it isent there time to go. and sometimes he doesent because he knows it is there time. God workes in mysterious ways that we may never fully understand.

  • the power of GOD and PRAYING and love.

  • Yeah, anyone who says this is a coincidence is retarded. God did this for her kids.

  • why not thank god for putting her in the coma in the first place. Is god just saving his ass after accidentally almost killing her? "Oh shit...she's dead my bad, i'll just bring her back with severely damaged motor control, no biggie."

  • This is exactly what I was thinking. Why is it always god when something good happens, but they never mention him when its bad? If he is so in control then he put her in the situation in the first place O.o

  • If you ask them to account for the bad things they usually say: "God works in mysterious ways." What a total cop-out response! He wasn't mysterious a second ago when they were explaining in intricate detail all of the good things he is responsible for... Teh stupid; it burns.

  • @djbrandenburg yeah what about the us retards? Where's god for us?

  • lol, sorry dude. I turned athiest since then. Just a coincidence

  • thats a big miracle

  • Wow I can't believe that! That's Amazing!!

  • its the power of love and children

  • and rainbows and unicorns and spaghetti!

  • @loveisreal222 And her husband! =) I hope everything is fine now.

  • I was there...I know her...it is truely a miracle! God has spared her life because she's not done here on Earth for what ever she is here to do.

  • This is a very touching story and I love that the children have their mother back, but I fail to see the miracle or divine intervention envolved. You say she is back because of prayer? Then what about the thousands of others that were prayed for that are dead? I dont see the connection between people praying and her recovery. The message I get from this is that you should enjoy this life while you can. You never know when it will end. Congrats on your 2nd chance at life.

  • @vottoduder God has more in store for this woman. maybe the others he wanted close to him. my grandma and uncle passed in the course of a 1 1/2 yr and it was there time. we prayed and im sure the Lord heard it but he had other plans. im just saying believe me prayer had a lot to do w. this woman walking out of that hospital.

  • @chmrx08 Ive had prayers answered as well. Actually, 100% of all my prayers have been answered. Recently I was hospitalized with life threatening surgery. Before I was rushed into the emergency room, I prayed to a bottle of water to save my life. Coincidentally, Im still here. Was it the bottle of water that answered my prayer or was it that the doctor had 20+ years of experience? I also prayed to my cat for financial help. The same week I got a raise at work. Coincidence? True stories.

  • @vottoduder Excellent point, even though it was a year ago... haha

  • @vottoduder

absolutly i know that from experience. Why would "god" put her in a coma and then set her free? and why is she so special?

Thank the fucking doctors hard work not god

  • @Aidan0128 Let people believe in what they believe in they're not converting you.

  • @Aidan0128 the doctors work really the doctors wrote her off ass dead and they were taking her off life support Good Job Docs almost killed a woman

  • @vottoduder that simply means it was not her time to go I'd been hit by a car said i wouldn't make it home was broke in and burgler THOUGHT he strangled me to death and robbed us blind in a terrible accident doctors couldn't explain why I made it out alive but guess what I"M Still here guess what it wasn't cause oof luck f god ain't ready for you he's not taking you we all have a time to go and no disaster is bigger that what God says I pray for all of you who doubts God your life must suck

  • @boosiesboo23 You say that the doctors didnt know why you didnt die? I know why. Because you simply didnt die. If you want to turn to the supernatural, paranormal, or magic to explain things that are difficult to explain, then your brain is lazy. There is a logical explanation for everything that happens. Sometimes we just dont have the knowledge or technology to explain it at the moment. Dont worry about praying for me. Prayers arent answered by praying, their answered by doing.

  • @vottoduder PRAYER IS REAL SO ITS TO BAD YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT!

  • @1KawaiiPeach Then please explain how and why prayer is real. I dont rely on superstitious beliefs to answer my prayers, I answer my own. Prayer is for the lazy and weak minded. If I want something in my life I do it myself. If I want to help someone, I help them, I dont rely on some random deity to do it for me. Thats for people who are too lazy to do it themselves and want to satisfy their conscience for being useless. Its also for people who dont have a firm grip on reality.

  • @vottoduder I get you, but when some people pray they do give God the ultimate decision. It's hard to accept, but not every person should live out there lives as long as they can. Maybe they would had been abused or miserable from fighting what ever made them ill or maybe it was their right. Death does not have to be a bad thing you know? This world has some sweet things in it but it is also full of pain, that not everyone can just learn from. Some people like pain, but not everyone cares for it

  • @WhiteMarz Of course death isnt a bad thing. Everything dies. But how does that involve a random deity? Where is the connection? Using the supernatural, paranormal, magic, superstition or voodoo to explain something does not constitute knowledge or intelligence. Sometimes things happen that we cant explain for lack of knowledge or technology, but making shit up just to have an answer is not intelligent. I dont have a problem saying "I dont know". Ive never heard a religious person say that.

  • @vottoduder Not all ppl of different faiths think they're smarter than other ppl. That's just rude for anyone to do. Also not every person who believes in a God is religious. I actually believe God never wanted religion. I view Him as an artist & believe He just wants to have a relationship with me. I've witnessed & questioned as well. If you haven't already, the best thing to do is witness a miracle & decide for yourself what you think happened. You can't explain what you've never tasted.

  • @WhiteMarz So, by your logic, if I told a 35 yr old adult that believed in leprechauns that there is no evidence that they exist and that the belief in them based on faith in a belief in them isnt very smart is rude. I disagree. Im just stating the obvious. I have one "belief" of my own. I believe that there is life on other planets. But I have no evidence to back up my belief, therefore its just a belief. Everything can be explained logically without using magic as an answer.

  • @vottoduder You paid no attention to what I said. I never said having your own belief in anything, or even nothing, is rude. You thought that in your own mind, which is your own personal issue. I said some people find being called "religious" rude. "Religious" means you do what you're TOLD, not what you want to on your own FREE will. That's why some people find the word "religious" offensive. In other words, believing in what you want should not be looked down upon by others.

  • @WhiteMarz Ok. I missed your point. And your right, everyone has the right to believe what they want. But believing that unicorns live on the dark side of the moon earns no respect and is "looked down upon". If believing in the supernatural makes you a better person then Im all for it. And Im sure if any of these people had evidence to back up their claims they would have presented it. I make no claims without providing credible evidence to back it up. I prefer reality over fantasy.

  • @WhiteMarz Im not using "free will" to explain things. Thats just as silly as making things up or doing what your told. Events that happen are what they are. Having the free will to believe what you want explains none of it. Explaining an event that takes place needs analysis, observation, evidence, research and testing along with time and technology in order to come up with a valid or credible conclusion. Belief is just belief, and nothing more.
