There is a way you can have wow version 3.1.x and v3.0.x this is how to do it: downgrade to version 3.0.x and then copy your wow folder to one underneath it, on your normal wow folder update to whatever you want and then with the copy update it to your favorite wow private server version, tada now just use the one you want 2 play on (dont forget to change the realmlist on your copied one :P)
