I only paint my wheels to stop the tyres going flat. Alloys are notorious for this problem in the British climate and tyre soap is no use on paint that has lifted. Remove tyre and valve and power brush away flaking paint especially in the bead and valve area. Watch out for porous black oxide. Paint with Special Metals Primer (etch prime) After a few days apply "Smoothrite". When the paint is hard sandpaper old paint & dirt off the tyre bead. Fit valve and tyre. It will now stay hard! Voila!
okay someone please help me, im gettin some rims from my bro, there 5 point star chrome rims with a 2 inch lip, i want to paint the face of the star red (like my car), could i do that? help is greatly appretiated and could you giv me an estimate if i took it to a shop... p.s. how much is it to paint the spoiler of a car, please total that and tell me so i can start saving up..
