shooting dears isnt for girls especially little ones,i would never teach a young girl or boy how to kill and use weapons,i think in some respect that is wrong
I'm a big advocate of animals rights and I am a supporter of hunting, because unlike most meat that ends up in the stores, these animals are killed quickly, and have spent their entire lives living as they should be, not crammed in pens or cages. As long as you don't enjoy making the animal suffer and give it its proper respect, I don't see anything wrong with being excited about getting your first deer, its a right of passage, like getting your license or something.
you got her one great job! But where did real hunting go? No gadgets just watching and waiting enjoying the outdoors then get your trophy (buck or doe)! Glad she had a guide otherwise she 'd have never seen it, playing games and all.
Good job girl, I remember my first deer which was a spike buck, he had bout 10" spikes. I shot him with a youth 243. it was a very special day for me also. So i know exactly where ur comin from. I think that is so awesome that you got to enjoy this hunt together as Father and Daughter...a great experience you can take to every new excursion.
