you dont even need any of these things! just go to settings and then go to the japaneese keyboard and select emoji!

well for the 3.0 firmware coming out soon, that supports picture text. Im not sure about the ring tones though.

before an update... spell number (free) had you be able to unlock emoji, by typing 9876543.21 in it, but apple forced them to remove it... but luckly i got emoji before they removed it! =D
