Pressure and temperature goes up as the fire spreads to the center where both factors increase exponentially to reach a critical point of explosion. For black powder, it is around 500 lbs in open air.

amazing test Id be the person set that of hahaha! Waste of fireworks but that was a great explosion amazing to see the destrucitive force of pyrotechnics,kinda makes you think twiche when you are handling it:)
