I worked for Three Dog Bakery for several years...human quality products, some of it was actually pretty good tasting! The Lick - n - Crunch cookies were like a down graded oreo, not bad at all. In fact, I like them better than oreos.
The We Pitty the Kitty treats are like cat crack. If you get in the right area, you can boom with the pet industry. However, you have to be careful to make sure you get the right diet needs for a dog. He needs more of a line, seems really underdeveloped. :-/
I imagine he may be thinking that with the $200,000 he can use some of that to buy out the other 80% of the business so that he regains the 100% ownership and then gives 30% to whoever invested from the show. Of course that's assuming this guy has intelligence, which is a pretty big leap from what I saw here.
If your family know that and happy with it thats fine .But here in this scenario he didn't ask for their permission before he fed them , thats my point.

I would've turned this guy down as well because he didn't know how much of the company he controlled, he turned down an order from a major retailer, he did not make a good profit off of each unit, the product was not selling well (only 200 units) and he simply asked for too much money for too little. If I were a dragon and I did decide to go in, then I would want control of the company since it's obvious he can't control it himself.
