  • Bye Bye John Yarmuth.

Thnx for helping us get rid of Anne.

Too bad you followed her path, and we trusted in you to be different.

Please cleanup your office as you leave,

Larry Hausman will have enough work left to him by your gang

of thugs and liars in Congress.

  • good, i am assured that the american people will wake up to what has been going on in washington for many years. the corruption and intrusion of gov in our lives is now more than ever.

  • yarmuth sucks and he is saying we are too stupid to understand how to live our own lives, what a crock of shit

  • this guy is another fool and idiot and you people in kentucky are crazy to support this traitor, i wish he would talk to me one on one, i am not some ignorant fool, i know economics and he is so crooked and corrupt, vote this sob out and get someone who will help this country create jobs. our founding fathers would hang him or shot him for treason, even the people in mass knows that they are traitors, imagine that. wish i could face him, i think he is a coward getting a big paycheck on us

  • David we are getting to that here in Louisville, don't lose faith in us here in the commonwealth just yet. :)

  • Premium costs will still go up under ObamaCare, and Yarmuth neglects to mention one thing about the costs. Prices may drop — may — relative to what they would be without federal intervention, but the federal intervention costs a lot of money, too. Well all be paying for that in taxes and fees assessed to insurers, providers, and innovaters in the pharmaceutical and medical-device industries. We just wont see those costs directly.

  • Once an entity, the government, has control of the use of products (healthcare) and delivery of goods and services (Cap and Trade), then the concept of currency is only a placeholder for the illusion of power that people will believe they have. Labor and Resources are the only real currency at that point, and that is what Democrats seek to control. That is why there is no real regard for the costs of their projects. They have to move quickly though.

  • It's like trying to change a movie projector without anyone noticing.

  • The adjective is 'Democratic', not 'Democrat'.

  • So healthcare prices were going down with no new taxes BEFORE they were going up with new taxes across the board?

    New math is hard.

  • CBO just scored the Republican option and it shows that Costs will go DOWN, not up, reduce the deficit by $68 Billion and cost less than 6% of the Democrat option.

  • That sounds good in theory but if it does not address coverage issues that we are dealing with then it is unacceptable!

  • The reality is, there are still going to be (I believe) 25 million uninsured Americans with the various Democrat versions. The Republican options do have a way to deal with everyone, not sure a handful. If you only gave a government handout, all you would have to do is pay for every uninsured American that does not have health insurance that wants it, and you are talking $35 Billion. Of course that does not reform only bandaids. Reform is needed, but as unobtrusive as possible.

  • I agree but both the D and R plans currently are unacceptable. Reform means addressing the coverage problem, which neither of these bills would do. It's like trying to stop a flood with a sponge.
