This theatre is used primarily by the over 500 music students and 100 faculty members. It also hosts dozens of concerts by visiting professionals every year. In the summer it is actively used by dance troops as well as acting as home base for the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Some non-music events are held in the theatre but these have been decreasing in recent years as the usage from the faculty of music has increased.
