  • Aye bro that sounds nice but my umcle did snocross about 2 or 3 years ago and his mod sounds better

  • man your pants are falling off lol

  • Sounds like a dope

  • how much for the raiser and the handlebar , and the hand protektor?

  • the sounds fits the sled... right thing to upgrade! nice

  • haha i like how the stock silencer is just laying in front of the sled. :)

  • soundss good i got the sno suff can on my sled check out my vids

  • what did you do for the bar rise hand guards and bars . because i just got a 2001 mxz 700 and i like your setup?

  • What riser is that, and is it hard to mount it?

  • how do u make that flutter sound at 0:12

  • @BlackHawkPeety the teather had bad connection, causing it to limit the RPMs thats all. you can see right after it hits the limiter i reach over and push it down

  • Is it hard to extend the throttle and brake lines? And are the electrical cables for the lights an reverse and kill switch long enough or do you have to extend those to?

  • how much those risers cost you?

  • @Skidoomxz03 all together, probably $200

  • i just bought one for my 700 summit 2002 but im wondering if you have to jet after the instalation?

  • @jamtoz no you dont have to

  • @Hawkman440x ok thank you

  • @jamtoz

Not nessecary, but maybe worth your while.

  • people dont realise that it sounds like shit up on a stand it sounds better in action

  • This is on Hawkmans profile:

    "Kenny Hawkins-19-Married, But Im Gay"

  • @rmathew2 hahaha its a joke you toolbox, and im 21. its called a sense of humor

  • Pull your pants up fag, seriously wtf???? People like you should not have a ski-doo

  • sweet sound!

  • hey Hawkman, figured I would throw in some more of my two cents, seriously dude, what is up with the jeans, and I aint a big fan of the riser either.

  • @rmathew2 your the fag your the one checking out the dudes ass o and by the way they hang low fo the sho

  • man what riser is that and how much?

  • Good stuff Hawkman, why even bother with the Jeans dude, just rock out with the briefs, oh this video is funny man

  • did you have to add any longer cables for the riser?

  • @sledneck711 yeah, both throttle and brake.

  • how long is that riser?

  • pivot with a 6" riser Block.

  • @Hawkman440x Okk nice how did you make your electrical switches longer?

  • cut them...added a loner piece of wire in for each wire that needed extended...and soder'd them back together...its a time consuming process...but its gonna be done right.

  • @Hawkman440x okk and your trottle extension cables and brakes.. where did you get them?

  • got them from a local motorsports shop...but they can be ordered right from Denniskirk. the throttle cable extension is made by powermadd. and the brake line is by powermadd as well.

for me to do EVERYTHING myself it cost me just under $200.

  • i love it lol have these kids are all like this now a days!! lil piss pots!

  • I have the exact same machine with the same muffler. Trying it out this weekend. The video doesnt give that sound any justice. Sounds way better up close. Thanks for the video

  • First off, THANKS MOM... Fuck you. ill wear my pants how ever the fuck i want, and 2 im not gay, dont be another cool tough shit-talking person on youtube commenting on other peoples videos, you just sound dumb.

  • sick sled dude. hey do they have reverse my xlt doesnt and its a pain

  • does your snowmobile have reverse

  • it sounds olsome

  • where did u get the riser bars

  • what site did you get the bars from?

  • i didnt, they came off my 05' mxz-x 440 race sled, i put pro tapers on that, and put the factory race bars on this 01 600

  • where did you get the can ?

  • sick sled.buyin one in a few weeks.whered you get the risers from?

  • go to powermadd(.)com

  • bought all the parts from denniskirk . com. have to buy the riser block (mine is an 8") the pivot block to adjust the desired bar angle. and throttle cable extension. i also reccomend a different set of bars, either moto cross bars (renthals, pro tapers ect ect.) or sno-cross straight bars...those are what i have

  • thanks! love that set up.will have to look into it. love the sound of that can to.you know anything on the 670s? all i could find on mbrps website was a can that said "standard" instead of race or trail..any ideas?anyone?

  • LOVE the bar risers

  • yeah man theyre sick, gotta love em' on the trails lol so much better than being hunched down when your standing up

  • nice sled and sound dude checkout my 2002 mxz x 700 with SS rumble pack can

  • pull up your pants lol sick ski-doo

  • haha yeah i know MY BAD. and thanks man, it was a very nice sled

  • sweet sled!

  • Those keys are a pain in the ass eh lol? Your the last one in the group to leave, give it a shot and it just sits there lol I hate that.

  • haha yeah it can be a pain but it sounds pretty sweet with the can =p especially when your about to launch and it does it... i can reach down at full throttle (sounds like a launch control system) ...fix it and it launches so hard...kinda like preloads the clutches lol but o well alot of those keys will do that on re-starts

  • lol yaaa, ive never did that before though =P

  • So you just had to extend the throttle cable? not the break or and and thumb warmers/ kill switch?

  • yeah only throttle... as from what i can remember that was the only one i had to change

  • do you have to re-jet when you put a mbrp can on? How much did the whole handle bar set-up cost?

  • nope no re-jet. Put it on and go, that simple.

As far as the bars go... $60 riser block+$30 pivot block+$30 cable extension+$75 mxzx 440 Bars

About $200 all said and done... you dont need the 440 straight bars... i just like how they are. you can easily run stock bars and save yourself some money

  • Good thing its starts....I didn't think i was ever guna start, and its the middle of the summer....My sled starts first pull i nthe middle of fucking winter!!

  • thanks for your inmut, come to find out the pilot jets were plugged, leaned out the mag side cylinder and melted the piston (this video was prior to that) reason it started hard was lack of fuel. Once I Noticed It Was Running Weird, i pulled the top end apart, changed all the jets in the carbs, and new pistons/rings. after that it started 1/2 pull everytime, only on like 0* Days Would i need choke. i just put a newer vid up on my page of it the day i sold it, bought a new bike-winters over. lol

  • nice sled i love ur bar risers and shit sounds okay to

  • yeah it sounds OKAY i guess.

  • srry didnt mean for u to take it the wrong way just how it sputtered and shit lol but when its all warmed up i no that shit BRAAAAPS

  • i love ur sled but what kind of riser do u have i just broke my three inch riser today

  • ha, my Ignition Coil just shit the bed tonight...it sucked, had NO SPARK. had to hitch a ride home to get my truck & trailor, just thought that was kinda funny we both had our shit get messed up. anyways... my risers are an 8" Powermadd Block, i have the Powermadd Pivot Block as well (Throttle extension is needed for any rise over 5" i believe) but all together with the 8" block & Pivot Block is just over 9" from the stem to the bars i love it. i'm 6'3 and its so comfortable standing. never sit.

  • we got double carbided rev skis from are buddies old rev thts about all we did to it

  • ya we studded his last year (196) we dont have a riser bar its just a trail sled nice vid though

  • my dads got the same sled only its clutched is urs clutched?

  • yeah, i have a few upgrades done to it. i just Studded the Track last week with Woody's Gold Series Studs (96). i have USI 'project-x' Race skis w/ 10" carbides, mbrp race can, Vforce reeds w/ spacers, 8" riser w/ pivot block, 1.25" track, HPG's all around, Cobra Windsheild ect ect

  • any noticable difference with the v forces and spacers?

  • hi i have a 03 mxz500 liquid and i have a hole ion the front of the belly pan any ideas how i can fix it without replacing it

  • probably the easiest and most affordable way is to patch it. heres a few easy steps to do so...

1.)find the hole you wanna patch

2.)find/purchase a piece of tough color matched plastic (flat/ fairly strong)

3.)Cut the piece of plastic just enough so it will cover up the other hole (1/4"overlap)

4.)hold the plastic up to the bellypan, drill 1 hole is each corner (4 holes total)

5.)get 'pop-rivets' that will fit in the holes that you have drilled, and rivet the piece of plastic in place

  • like the bars. those 6" fly racing risers and bars?

  • no, 8" Powermadd riser w/ pivot block. i didn't like the stock ski-doo bars w/ that weird bend, so i cut a round piece of mild steel on the chop saw... left it perfectly stright(same diameter as the stock ski-doo bars) and just put everything back together. (bar hooks, gas, brake, kill switch, and hand warmers all went back on the bars i made, along w/ handgaurds and barpad)

  • love it

  • thanks

  • sounds amazing man.

  • thanks alot man... hate to say it but... it might have a spun bearing in the lower end... FUCKIN SHITTY. ill find out soon though.

  • thats never good.

  • problem solved... just a simple clutch malfunction, thank god. sounded exactly like the bottom end came apart. big relife was taken off my shoulders. haha

  • yea sometimes things sound worse than they are with sleds.

  • yea especially when you have ice built up in the tunnel/around the suspension and it breaks loose while riding... sounds like something is seriously wrong. then it comes out and all is well lol

    hawkman... nice sled. sounds great!

  • yea sounds like your lugs or studs are hitting the coolers

  • yeah, its kinda nerve racking when stupid shit like that happens, you think you screwed something up, but its nothing bad at all... worst part about it if you did break somthing, every fix you have to do, is always an expensive one.

mxzed600-i have seen guys jumping shit with 1" studs, and no heat exchange protector, and they ruin theyre sleds. thing that sucks is, protectors are only like $30. but if you dont have one, it would cost you hundreds in repairs. some learn the hard way i guess

  • yup, i put one inch studs on my stock .88 track, always use protection, lol
