As a guitar player I am,I have to say that I prefer Slash 100 times rather than Buckethead...I admit Buckethead has more skills than Slash,BUT,Slash has something that Buckethead has never had:FEEL,Buckethead is a fuckin' robot while Slash puts emotion on all his guitar playing,that is something that I consider really important,because yo can play as good as you want but without feel you don't get any success

Go listen to any of his soloes and you will quickly realise that the reason for his songs lacking words is that he does not need them. He is such a master of the guitar that he can play with such an incedible depth of emotion that it blows me away and makes me realize that there is no need for a voice to make his emotions easy to understand.

IMO, buckethead is a better guitarist overall than slash. however, he had absolutely no place in guns n roses and cant be compared to slash. listen to buckethead's music, you'll see what i mean. They were almost 2 hours late and I actually fell asleep and woke up to the start of Welcome to the jungle and some green laser show... The show was cool because I love GNR so much. But it just wasn't the same without Slash.. It never will be... And it goes the other way around to.... The old GNR songs are not the same without Axl! At the show I got to see Izzy to when they played Patience!
