have to say the ships are nice but omg the backgrounds and scinery are just spectacular btw u can customise ur ship and person more than any other game its sweet i havnt been on it yet but omg i so want the game :) and look at jupiter braodcasting they show a number of reviews and differnt things

I couldnt play eve and stay sane... too long to get anything and too easy to lose everything lol i love that kind of gamestyle where you can steal from other players but that game took a whole day's worth of effort to get a small amount of credits haha

Actually after seeing the in-game videos I think Eve Online looks a hell of a lot better. This just looks too damn cartoony. If they wanted to make the ships look good all they had to do was duplicate the schemes that Starfleet Command used, which by the way was a Star Trek game done right. This looks like someone took Star Trek: Armada and turned it into an MMO...very lame in my opinion. And whats with the ships being all jittery when they get hit in combat?

new trek does establish that there is no sound in space, any time the camera follows someone out into space without a spacecraft (or suit in one case) the vast majority of the sound, including background music, ceases.

the sound is there for the audience, NOT the characters.

@PrawnSticks its an mmo think the phasors are good btw its constalty being updated and patched they patch it like every week and also add missions so its a never ending game but i havnt got it yet but i think the ships are cool as hell
