Superman, which Alanis co-wrote when she was 15, has very well-crafted hooks. Her voice sounds amazing. Some may think it's juvenile to sing about finding "superman". So what though, is that necessarily bad? Can't we lighten up and enjoy it, even though its not as profoundly philosphical as her later work?

Her early work is derided, but "Supposed Former Infactuation Junkie" gets a free pass.
