  • the kid with the milk thing reminded me of napoleon dynamite

  • Yeah thanx for all u have done these warm my heart n I'm not the type to say that lol but they do oh the memories lol

  • I honestly can't tell you just how many of these commercials I remembered and could recite from memory while watching not just this installment, but quite a few of the others you've uploaded. Thanks for all of the hard work you do!

  • Man, the days when gum commercials had catchy jingles...

  • I remember most if not all of these. Love the Christmas M&M's commercials. They sure don't make Christmas commercials like this anymore..The Lexus, Buick, and TMobile commercials I've seen the last few years might just turn me into a true Grinch.

  • "The Charmings" certainly looks like a delightful piece of 80's cheese

there were some serious chewing gums then. they all had good jingles

I loved this special as a kid. we might still have our taped version somewhere

the phrase "Crispy Critters" does not have a good connotatiin in my mind!

  • we don't have many of these stores in the west, I don't think this was aired here.

  • @MLCVIn129 about the same age as me . I am 27 gonna be 28 in February

  • Nice to see the Extra commercials again.

The animation on that Pinnochio movie looks terrible.

Not sure if someone pointing a gun at their face is a great idea during kids' specials...

I never knew of that Julie Andrews special.

  • I used to wear osh Kosh B gosh clothing 1989 I was 5 .. Comfy overalls

  • @TypesEvilAspieEyes I wonder how old those kids are now. . .mid to late 20s?

  • Pinocchio and The Emperor of the Night, that movie scared the bejesus out of me when i was 6 seeing that in theaters when i lived in St. Louis a year before moving to Omaha and i have it uploaded here on youtube. Leonard part 6 was total garbage that i saw when i was 7 on video and BOY it sucked balls. Muppet Famil

  • That Leonard Part 6 sure looks terrible. Never saw it, lol. I love Sledgehammer & I remember watching the Charmings.

  • @mefault My family saw "Leonard Part 6" on Christmas night.

We laughed out loud and enjoyed it.

  • What I remember saying about Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night: "This movie is shit...and that's no lie!"

  • @acceptthis01

I liked it, it's one of my guilty pleasures.

  • You shouldn't water that goose child, that goose doesn't want your water.

  • Man,back then felt so much more...magical, but then again I was just a kid.

  • I still remember those 2 other mascots for Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

  • I cannot believe that the MILK: IT DOES A BODY GOOD commercial is 24yrs old now! Seems like yesterday that I was watching it on TV!!

  • @m3trooper I remember it too. Looking at it now I can't help thinking those other guys could still beat him up even at 19.

  • I am so jealous you have all these tapes

  • Great stuff! It really shows who they were trying to appeal to.

  • I remember Crispy Critters being really gross.

I haven't seen A Muppet Family Christmas; maybe I should check it out.

  • @skystarless "A Muppet Family Christmas" is one of my favorite holiday specials. Watch the unedited version on DTVZone's channel.

  • If Bill Cosby told people not to see Leonard Part 6, why did he make it in the first place?

  • @Nickrj3 Even bad movies usually start with good intentions. Cosby produced it and wrote the story, which was intended to be a tongue in-cheek spoof of the James Bond series. When it all came out wrong he blamed it on the first-time director (which was kind of a dick move since he was the one calling the shots).

  • @Nickrj3 Cosby was just overrated, never found him funny at all!

  • I don't see what people are talking about when they rag Leonard Part 6; it was the greatest film since Ghost Dad!

  • That "Nightline" promo with Dr. Timothy Johnson was badly placed, especially since it came during the end credits of a children's Christmas special.

  • The Filmation animation studio ceased operations two years later, also Gary Owens is v/o the "Leonard Part 6" movie ad, the late Ernie Anderson is v/o the promo for Julie Andrews special, "The Sound Of Christmas" and the voiceover during the end credits of "A Muppet Family Christmas was veteran ABC announcer and former longtime ABC's World News Tonight announcer, Bill Rice.

  • I don't think you get the credit that you deserve. It must be time-consuming to do this as well. I was born in 1990 and I didn't live through these times but after 280 80's videos, in the most indirect of senses I feel like I have. Thank you sir and have a happy holidays.

  • @seattlesfinestwrx Amen brotha :)
