This reminds me very much of the 16-lb. Norge VHQ washer my aunt had back in 1968, except the agitators' fins were spiral instead of straight. That machine lasted for 12 years and several moves.
That is what i grew up with after the hotpoint died out, mom liked the capacity, but didnt like the fact that it didnt have an overflow rinse like the hotpoint
