  • Oh yeah! I remember this. The first time I heard her was at a club on Vaughn Road in Toronto called "Beno's" I think. She was with Bill King Trio. They tore the roof off the place. It was 1980. What a voice! I'm not sure how many octaves she's got. She's always had that voice!!!.

  • Beautiful vocals and video.

  • Looks like 'morris day and the time' in the background, jerry curls & all..lol

  • Lovely.

  • Contact me if you'd like.

  • great song.....brings me back.......

  • I saw her play at a wedding recently, she was really good.

  • Would love to find this as a MP3 someday. Libery Silver has one awesome voice :)

  • I've had a major crush on Libery since this song was on the charts, back in the 80s, and I recently met her at a friend's wedding. She's still a stunning woman, with an amazing voice. Much love, Liberty!

  • Someone wanted to know who my brother was--it was Darryl and it was when Liberty went for her Juno--you all lived on Baif.

  • She was an absolutely great lady--my brother used to babysit her son when she lived in Richmondhill.

  • she wash a good frand at 1 time to me neil

  • I babysit Liberty silvers Grandkids ; shes awesome <3

  • Hello ..... Liberty use to live in the same building I did ... I was friends with her brother Paul King. If you see him (you babysit her grandkids) ... could you please tell Paul to contact Carilyn Hill (he would know me as Carilyn Timmons) on facebook if you would .. I have been trying to find him for years. Tell him 723 Bloor St. ... Smitty was our landlord! I would LOVE to talk to Paul again! Thank you!!!!!

  • this was made in the late eighties, i remember meeting liberty at a gay club in toronto...she was great, a local artist made it big, in toronto ( canada) anyway...great voice...lovely lady

  • I do remember Liberty Silver as one of the early, prototype whistle-note singers (a la Minnie Ripperton and Deniece Williams) back in the late 70s/early 80s. Silver had a solid niche following, but I think she deserved a more high profile career.

  • When was this song made? Sounds 80s
