Who in South Asia can compete against the legendary, Pakistani Qawwal, Nusrat Fateh Ali khan that sang with the American Rock Band Pearl Jam.

hey i am a big fan of strings for a long time..anyways about the song and the video..i really like the song and the video really goes with it...and i think the band is not trying to cash in on the cause but instead is trying to bring the muslim ummah closer together by their songs. and i don't care what arabs think of pakistani people but i sure know how the pakistanis feel about them....

I am a Lebanese who lived in the gulf and I have to admit that the low-income pakistani and indian workers are mistreated by the arabs. And there is a mistake generalizing the arab nations as one entity because we are all so different in the arab world. I like the band but I don't like this song. Somehow, it gives the feeling that they are trying to cash in on popular sentiments.
p.s. As a sidenote, I live in the gulf and i've noticed that the paki's seem to have a soft-corner for the arabs. In return, the arabs don't even care about them, always treating them like dirt. How many arabs have you seen campaigning for Pakistan?

as far as the song goes, it is the same old Strings arrangement and style but till now i had never been able to see why people used to compare ur music to U2's (except for maybe using delay a lot).always thought strings sounded very orignal. but this song totally sounds like a U2 song.
